Circulo de Juarez
Simultaneously to the PCT's sprinters stage race Eneco Tour, also the CT's sprinters will have a rare chance to go for both stages and the GC. This race in Mexico goes into it's second edition, with Michael Matthews (Risa) taking the overall victory last season.
Five rather short stages. Five flat stages. Featuring a few speedbumps, but still hand-made for the fastest men in the peloton.
The Startlist
The Favorites Rider | HI | SPR | ACC | Rider | HI | SPR | ACC | Richeze | 66 | 80 | 79 | Abdallah | 63 | 78 | 76 | Lavoine | 60 | 80 | 78 | Sonnery | 70 | 78 | 73 | Serebriakov | 61 | 80 | 77 | Rasmussen | 50 | 77 | 79 | Forero | 61 | 80 | 75 | Uugunbayar | 62 | 77 | 75 | Peeters | 62 | 79 | 77 | Tolleson | 68 | 76 | 75 | Corioni | 64 | 79 | 75 | Balykin | 61 | 76 | 75 | Drujon | 66 | 78 | 78 | Bouglas | 67 | 76 | 75 | Moser | 67 | 78 | 77 | Favilli | 75 | 76 | 74 |
None of last year's Top-5 finishers (Matthews, Maniarelli, Drapac, Guillén and Farrar) came back this year, but at least Rasmussen (6th and one stage win) did so. He would be happy enough with a similar outcome this time.
Top-favorites will be other names though: Richeze, Lavoine, Serebriakov and Forero are likely to be the best bets here. They all should be capable of delivering results on a consistent base.
Peeters, Corioni, Moser, Abdallah/Sonnery as possible contenders, while teams like SanCor (Andriato) and Fablok (Drujon) lined up with some pretty strong trains/leadouts.

Razzie's back and ready for vengeance. So what if everyone else promoted. it's time for him to promote to first.
Pretty damn small startlist here also!

Win goal here, so I beg you Serebriakov, do not crash, fail, whatever, but win. Luckily the form lately has been excellent, so I have some confidence actually.

Can't feel too confident about this race, Forero managed to fail here last year when he was generally OK, so that doesn't bode well at all for this edition!

Not the worst start, but weird to see that Kuznetsov was not that strong. 3rd is decent and gives good opportunities for the next stages.

Just caught myself raising my arms when Lavoine delivered That's how intense it was on such few screenshots
Will this be where we take our first GC win ever?
FYI this was my 9th stage win

Very good memories from this race last season. Surprised not to see Matthews and Compal here (HC?).
Thrilling end to the stage and nice to see the two biggest favourites both getting great leadouts. Should be a very interesting battle for the GC-win.
Congrats, sgdanny! Seems like you're having a good first season, with a lot of wins, at least as I can remember!

This is a C2 race, dunno why Matthews isn't here

Matysiak and Drujon has been exceptional and glad to see SanCor and Novatek can get such a strong leadout each time aswell

Lots of stage wins, must be close to 10 or something xD Though best GC result is 4th and I would like to get a podium, if not win a race before the end of the season. 41 Race Days these two months, good start to the most vital part of the season
EDIT : Thanks btw and I kinda feel sorry for you Stromeon

Two stage wins last season and 2nd in GC, was some race for the team last season.
Great start to the race and a podium that makes a ton of sense, with the top three favourites finishing together. If this was a win goal for Selwink you have to wonder why he didn't send Hochmann as super lead-out man, the win for sgdanny there was all about the lead-out from Drujon.
Another win for sgdanny, 10th of the season yet? Good to see him racking them up. |

I tried the Serebriakov-Hochmann combo last year. I think we all know the outcome

Good stuff by Corioni there, 5th in this field is okay. I hope he can achieve a stage win at some point. Today he was in ideal position behind Lavoine but lacked the top end speed. Obviously everything needs to fall in its right place if Corioni is to manage a win here.

Bit disappointed by the outcome after a stronger lead-out, but it's good to see that at least Richeze is coming closer. Rasmussen should be very doable to catch, and Lavoine will, I'm afraid, be hard to beat.
