^ If only he was taking part, Bjartne.
Say what you like, but this has been an absolute train wreck of a Man Game week for Bonsucro. We have Iglinskiy injured from a fall in a race (and now abandons) where he could have fluked a good GC place, Contador puctures at the worst possible moment in one of the biggest races of the season and now, here, our best comes home 17'00 down on the stage... The What?!?!?
ONCE with some decent results regularly at last, they will be swiftly climbing the rankings, that is their second breakaway win at least this season. Whereas we have one 4th place from breaks...
I had a feeling I would get some bad luck after finding a 10 ten pound note in the middle of nowhere under some seaweed on a lonesome beach, and this is it, so it was coming I guess. |

So disappointing to be just 22 seconds off the win here. Kwiatek did well to attack but Cataldo kept him in check. Good to lose to someone near the other end of the table though than a rival.
Before transfers when looking at targets it was between Kwiatkowski and Cataldo, both are nice riders. Congrats to Vontobel on the win to get their season back on track. |

Was pleased to see Lahsaini in the break. Hoped they would stay away and they did. 3rd is an acceptable result, although of course would have liked more.
Bibby really lacking in strength at the death since his great effort at Bayern earlier in the season. But fortunately both he and Super-Teklehaimanot did go with the moves to secure a cool 2 in the GC Top 5 and the teams classification. Amazing week for Tekle!
Thanks again tsmoha. Congrats to Margh, Cataldo is always a strong performer and he looks set to deliver some vital points here. And I really hope Kenya can keep their push all season and earn promotion, so happy that Kwiatkowski continues to do well.

Well another good ride from Intxausti considering his stats and Krueziger as well to hopefully boost our PPRD to 10 for this race though it still means a poor race for us it was down to bad planning and nothing else. |

*Bangs head on table repeatedly*
Little bit of a Stevie G moment here as we truly have let this slip :S
12th and 13th GC gives pts but not enough... only a stage win tomorrow will salvage this race

Okay, so Matthews out, Bauer loose considerable amount of time and the only positive we're left with is that we took part in BOTD. Oh well, we still have Park for tomorrows stage |

Ouch, that out of control breakaway cost Minnard his GC. He still has the mountain Jersey though.

Okay, did reallyyyy not see that one comming, but I'll take it!
Amazing stage for us. Stage win + a potential 8th place in GC is a massive turnaround from seemingly another 0-pointer, pretty good! Gives me some hope for another PCT-season.

Our second break win indeed, in the first one Guillen won the sprint in the pack and got second, so we would have won that one anyway
This one is even better because good GC-ranking aswell.

Dear PCM 2014,
why in the world would you still make Nerz the leader for this stage?!?! HE LOST 26 MINUTES ALREADY! BOL ONLY 6! BOL HAS 76 HILL! NERZ 72!
Also loooooooooooool for Felline finishing 30 minutes down on this stage alone...
This game is just trolling me by now, and I think it's tsmoha's game in particular so I'd really prefer to have another reporter covering my races from now on
I appreciate your work man, but your game isn't unbiased.

Yay, we've Zubeldia'd
Wohrer has got himself into the top 10 on GC, possibly our first of the season, and third in the youth rankings and this strong showing has made a case for giving him a contract next year when I have to streamline the squad back down to CT size.
There are some spots on next years roster that will come down to retaining the guys that did better this year/ want less wages and this definitely will be taken into account when assessing if he is to get one of them.

Ah, so close for Amanuel!
Good race in the end with a couple of breakaway stage 3rd places and two in the GC Top 5. Pity to never be in the fight for overall win, but there we go - sponsor goal was Top 10 so that puts the team to 2/3 achieved so far.

we held our 8th in GC, I was a little worried when I saw the picture of 3 of our guys crashing but luckily Wohrer wasn't one of them and managed to stay ahead of the split aswell.
Congrats to our friends at Vontobel for securing the GC victory, it seems Swiss teams really do love it here in Japan.
thanks for the reports tsmoha

Awesome race! Wasn't a commanding, but a much needed win.
Kwiatkowski looks stronger in the head to head comparison... a career performance by Cataldo the day he tackled the few kilometres to the Mount Fuji finish was necessary to steal the victory. A great fight by Kwiat nonetheless.
Thanks for the exciting reads, tsmoha!

All in all not a terrible race for us. Could've been better, but a few nice break results too.
Still disappointed in Van Winden's prologue though.
Although must say in this particular stage a sprint wouldn't necessarily have been bad for us.

Good stage with Landa holding his decent GC-position. All I could hope for really especially when Guillen were out aswell. Wierd how much one simple break-away can turn a race around. Very happy with the outcome of the race in the end.
Mansilla! Gratz Bonsucro, they haven't had so much luck lately and Mansilla was clearly the strongest sprinter left, so nice to see them grab a stage atleast!
Also great race by Cataldo holding off the ever performing Kwiatkowski. Congratz Vontobel. Kwiat, turning more and more into a prober steal.
Thanks for the suberb reports yet again Tshoma!

Only when my team joins a break away, the break away wont win
11th GC for dennis is ok, but with tvetcov down to 18th, we will get even less pts than before... yay!
Thanks to tsmoha for the reports, nice as always!

Aaaarh, I agree with you cio. WHY ON EARTH is Bauer the one sprinting and not Park, when in perfect position for a good sprint?? Ridicilous, as all the other stages has been as well from our point of view
Thank you for another quality stage race tsmoha!! |

Really annoyed with this race. The second hilly stage showed that Kiserlovski could've kept up with the favourites also on that terrain. Loosing Kip in that stage crushed my last hope of a stage win, nice to get Wang twice into the top10 though through breaks. Kiserlovski in 13th in the end is better than expected, but in total we scored far to few points in the race.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha. |

A good race for us. Kwiatkowski in 2nd gives us plenty of points even though the win was possible. The Points Jersey and white are also good bonuses. Congrats Margh on the win and thanks tsmoha.
Kwiatek now takes a long hiatus until Portugal, so time for our other leaders to step up to keep us in promotion contention. |
