The best thing about the TOU Tour Tracker is that it has neither Phil and Paul nor Kirby!
Call me crazy, but I have had fond memories of livestreaming most stages in 2011 with Phil and Paul, along with going through some discs of the 2004-2005 TdF's. They say a lot of stupid shit, but I have grown accustomed to that somehow, almost immune. Its the sound of that TdF for me and honestly, I enjoyed it.
Have also been able to catch a decent amount of Kirby livestreams. I think its cozy just to sit and listen to that, altho he also say some stupid shit. Along with Backstedt, I actually enjoy them as well. I like not listening to the same ol record over and over again

I used to be okay with Phil and Paul and there sound is familiar but they make way more mistakes these days than they did a few years ago and its just annoying

Matti Breschel strikes again for Tinkoff - Saxo and the home nation, the Dane beating off the challenges of Edvald Boasson Hagen and Magnus Cort in the sprint.
The fifth stage, an individual time trial, is later today as well.
All hell breaking loose in Colombia yesterday... A Costa Rican winning the stage and a Venezuelan taking the yellow jersey!
A breakaway was allowed to stay clear again, but unlike the other two breakaway stages they managed to maintain a significant advantage to the finish. The pack took it a bit easier today and no one of real note lost time. Gabriel Mendoza of Rujano's team takes over the overall lead with a four minute lead over Vargas in second. Sevilla is still the best-placed favourite, 4:14 behind, but the riders who are at the top from the breakaway today will slip down pretty quickly.
Tomorrow is La LÃnea but it's a long way from the finish so we'll have to see if the favourites are prepared to make any decisive moves. The LÃnea stage last year had the climb similarly far away from the finish but with another lesser climb afterwards, but still failed to produce significant gaps, so I'm not optimistic. Terrible, terrible stage design
Speaking of Colombians, Miguel Angel Lopez wins Stage 4 of the Vuelta a Burgos ahead of Daniel Moreno and Pierre-Roger Latour! The Colombian moves into the overall race lead now in place of Astana team mate Luis Leon Sanchez.
Astana obviously getting ready to tear everyone a new one at La Vuelta based on today, be interesting to see how they back it up tomorrow. As interesting as it would be to see M.A. Lopez ride the 2015 Vuelta a Espana I don't know how well he would handle the three weeks given it is his first year at Astana, also just 21, and the team probably want a domestique that can go the full distance.
Also a good ride by almost 22 year-old Pierre-Roger Latour of AG2R Le Mondiale on the final climb and summit finish.
Yeah, its probably a wise decision to let him be home, alltho it would be extremely interesting to see what he is capable of in such a race. The Giro next year should almost be a lock next year. Consider a team with Nibali, Aru, Lopez etc. Ouch. Lopez should probably just do those italian races instead, he has good chances of winning a few. Astana has really hit the jackpot lately with those young climbers, Landa, Aru and now MA Lopez. Also looking forward to how Rosa will develop.
Decent performance by the Movistars, nothing special, but hard to compete with that Astana team.
Sergio Henao has a lot to thank Mikel Nieve for today at the Tour de Pologne. The duo really put the pressure on in the group of overall race contenders and eventually it was S.Henao who decisively broke free to win the stage by several seconds (not including bonuses).
An individual time trial victory for continental team ColoQuick at the Tour of Denmark with 21 year-old Dane Mads Würtz Schmidt! Chris Juul-Jensen moves in to the overall race lead after the ITT.
Anybody else's pcs displays getting weird (on embedded links into posts)?

yeah, definitely a great talent in the ranks of AG2R. I remember well his performance at Route du Sud where he was up against Bertie and Q. High hopes for him!

Just posting so we can have a Valverde-avatar 3 in a row, bby.
Just to say something productive, what a day for columbian cycling. Henao is a great rider, and Lopez is the biggest talent on the columbian scene right now. Quintana-esque talent? Time will tell. He seems to be more explosive, i dno about his endurance and recovery.
Wurtz with an impressive ride. DK has some great talent coming around these days, Kamp, Valggren, Cort, Mads Pedersen and especially that guy Søren Kragh. Hoping to see him around in the WT very soon!
