Yeah I see what you mean, already the first week is the easiest, but I'll make the third a bit harder now.

This guide lets you add a race, but keep in mind I haven't finished it yet so adding the whole race is impossible: https://pcmdaily.c...p?tipid=50 If you just want to add the stages (as variants for other races, or to play in single race mode), then all you have to do is step 4.

Sorry about the slow-down had a very busy week with the state championships and school, I'll also will be away the next five days.
But I'll be very active after that. So hopefully everything will speed up then.

@trek: I really love this project. Would be really awesome to have 4 GTs every year. I hope that is implementable well.

Thanks I'm 90% sure you won't have to replace another GT to add it.
Also, so far on status I wasn't able to use the computer I did it on for a couple days after I was away, but I'm now almost done correcting stage 1.

Don't rush it mate. A nice looking race takes time and care to produce. Not very nice to have empty landscapes in the low countries. We all know how cramped houses and trees are, it's not Kansas for sure.
Setting up those 2-3 houses combos with fences and stuff, small groves and other cool things that always pops up between villages and cities, do take time.
Better getting a wonderful stage race than just A to B stages.
If you got some special thoughts on your climbs (KoM) I will be happy to help of course. It's not that hard anyhow..... Question is how, many smaller KoMs in the starts than some slightly bigger. (After all it's mostly Benelux and no HC, not even perhaps any cat 1)

Yeah, have spent a while on this stage trying to make it look nicer. Although will take some more of your advice there.
As for KOMs the main problem is I want to include I stage with a hard climb in France but I don't want it to be decisive in the mountains classification.
@everyone: Would people prefer a stage with a mountain or not anyway? It assume it would be like putting a cobbled stage in the tour.

First: nice race, looking forward to try it! Second: i think one mountain stage would be nice but it dont have to be to hard! Maybe one mountain would be enough? It will make gaps but not to big either. |

I'd have said it could be what the tour would call a medium mountain stage, so it could still feature multiple mountains if they are ones considered not that hard.

Hey,
First of all an apology for the slow down, my problem not a lack of motivation for stages, but a lack of ability to concentrate on a whole 21 stage race at one time.
As such, I'm going to change this thread up a bit, I'll still be working on the Benelux tour, I'll just also do requests and other races.
On that note, requests are open. I'll edit the first pages of the thread as well to make it more suitable.
Just a couple notes about requests, mostly for my motivation to stay up:
-If I'm not motivated about something, I can't do it, just because it'll hold me up on everything else
-I prefer to do fantasy races, although I can do a variant for a one day real race, you will have to be very specific about the details (GPX, map, etc.)
-For fantasy races, you can be as detailed as you want but I need a map of the course if you give a GPX.
-A limit of 4 stages for a race requested for a race at a time, (I guess if you were really tricky though you could request 4 then another 4 )
Also, I'll close requests if there are too many at once.
Sorry about not being able to do Benelux nearly as quickly as anticipated , soon I'll post another race to make up for it.

Mate, I will try this Hellas,
and your concern about a dominating mountain stage in your Benelux.
Why not set up a special XML classification that fits your race. The standard 2.2 and 2.1 by Cyanide really destroy any stage race. Just look at the bonus in sprint, CRAZY.
And hey you set the KoMs and you don't need to have full HC-4, just pick 2-3 classes. It's all your call, and points should be adjusted to your stage race.

Ok, cool thanks for the help.
I guess I'll work out how XMLs fit as it goes on.

I already had an idea about a race, but sadly I don't know how to create the .gpx files you want...

You don''t need GPX files, I was just saying that you can even be that specific, if you want, all I really need are general details.
I create them with plotaroute although, there are lots of sites that let you.

I wanted to have a route through my region, with the finish at our local climb, so I think I need some GPX files. I will try to create one.
