Hey,
Welcome to the League of Professional Cyclists Team News Page!
So here is a thread where you post which of the sponsor offers you have chosen, as well as this you announce any riders you have signed and any race reports for your team.
As well as this you post your team presentations, so please can all participants reserve a thread for their main home page of their team.
Thanks
Joe

Shut Up Legs Management Company
Shut Up Legs Management was inspired by the greatest character in cycling history, Jens Voigt. The man that wouldn't give up, and would never surrender. He decided that it was time to give something back to the cycling world, but some believed he didn't need to he saw the fall of the UCI, and liked what he saw, it was time for him to come back to cycling after 4 years away from the sport, but he couldn't be a rider.
When he saw his chance to become a team manager he took it. He aimed to create a new team with new ethics and unique ideals. These ideals were to be set on what he liked to see in cycling, attacks, attacks and more attacks. He aimed to form a team that was happy to attack, but could also be the best team in pro cycling.
The first thing he had to think about was who to bring onboard as staff, he picked up his Nokia phone (which is almost as hard and solid as he is) and smashed in the first number that came to his head. Bobby Julich answered and liked what he heard he was on board as head DS, but who else to bring in. He decided on the staff and they all agreed with his beliefs and ideals for this new cycling team.

Tailwind Sports.
My name is Tyler Hamilton, I'm a former professional cyclist and doper, but I want to make sure that other young cyclists don't go through what I had to do during my career.
It all started in 1999 when Lance Armstrong decided that he wanted to win the Tour de France, and I mean that was a pretty stupid thing as he wasn't a climber. So we needed to change his whole physiology to allow him to win, and the only way this was possible was by using drugs.
From then on I was in the cult of dopers and I was unable to speak to anyone about it. In 2004 my doctor messed up a blood transfusion and I was caught doping, after that i realised the danger and stupidity of what i was doing, so i vowed never again to dope.
However in 2007 I was on some medication for my depression, which had affected me since i was young, however I didn't realise that this contained a banned drug, so i was banned again and I couldn't of been more embarrassed. From then on I decided I didn't want to race my bike anymore, so i retired. The new UCI contacted me late last year to help them to crush doping, and I was happy to help I told them everything and they were grateful.
After this I decided I wanted to come back into cycling as I knew it had changed and I wanted to help reinforce this change. I set up this company and am glad to say the change will be permanent.
My team will be run with complete opens there will be no secrets or dodgy deals, as I want cycling to be a clean and cheating free sport, and I think that the new UCI (LPC) will make this happen.
Tyler

Project Indigo is a Cycling Project born out of a meeting between businessman and high performance directors from France and Oceania. It was originally going to enter the cycling world this season as a PCT team but due to the recent reform we've decided to apply for a WT licence.
The Team behind Project Indigo are a group of businessman and former cyclists who will be acting as Directeur Sportifs. They are:
Thomas Voeckler (Also part of Management)
Julian Dean (Also Part of Management)
Phil Anderson
Matt White
Stuart O'Grady
We also have three trainees:
Thibaut Fumeaux
George Bollinger
Hayden Smith

Shut Up Legs Management Company
We are glad to announce that the Shut Up Legs management team has come to a deal with Kenya Airways to sponsor a team for the 2018 season. They wish to provide us with a strong backing, which will allow us to form a development team. The sponsor for this development team will be Project Africa as we aim to provide a base for young African cycling talents as well as some of the best young cyclists.
The budget for our team this year is enough to allow us to sign the best African cyclists as well as the riders to allow us to complete our goals. The budget for the development team is large enough to give us enough budget to hire any African cycling talent that we believe necessary.
Our sponsor has also told us that they would like to have a number of British riders on the team, this means we can aim to sign riders like Chris Froome (who is a very interesting rider to our sponsors with his Kenyan Origins). The team has target races of the Tour De France and the Tour of America, so our main focus will be grand tours.

We are glad to announce that our team for the 2018 season will be sponsored by Strava, the popular segment timing site has signed a one year contract, which will see us given a good budget to allow us to sign some of the best American talent, we will also be setting up the cycleYorkshire s/b ASDA-Savers development team, which although is predominantly British sponsored will feature both young British and American riders as we aim to find the next young Eddy Merckx or Bradley Wiggins.
