It`s time for another Velogames PCM.Daily League.
This time a more complex game. Some probably know it from past seasons.
It`s about the spring classics starting with Milan San Remo and ending with Liege Bastogne Liege.
www.velogames.com
The full list of races:
Spoiler MILANO - SANREMO
DWARS DOOR VLAANDEREN
E3 HARELBEKE
GENT - WEVELGEM
RONDE VAN VLAANDEREN
SCHELDEPRIJS
PARIS - ROUBAIX
DE BRABANTSE PIJL
AMSTEL GOLD RACE
LA FLECHE WALLONNE
LIEGE - BASTOGNE - LIEGE
If you are wondering how to pick a team of 12 riders only for all those races, the answer is: You have 24 transfers in total. So you can change riders from race to race. But be careful as you probably want to have some left for the final races.
In especially as some races are rated higher and give more points than others as you can read in the rules on velogames.
To join the league visit velogames.com and enter the PCM.Daily League with the following code: 20111010
For answers, use this thread here.

My team isn't really that good, but I'm in.

Well I'm out, they added a rule where your riders can earn extra points if you pay extra. Makes the game completely unbalanced .
Unless we all agree not to do it, of course.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well. I guess most of us won`t pay for it anyway. |

This is extremely hard, didn't know about the transfer thing though. Now I have to change it up again -.-. |

Time for another win, over past years I was 1st 2nd and 4th, time to regain the crown once more
About the premium, 5£ for whole year is very fair. At start I thought it was only for classics game but considering 6 other events included with it plus WCs, fiver is nothing. Nice way to give back to the site over years of fun with it.

It would be, if they did separate leagues for people with premium and non premium.
Now it has become pay to win. |

Last year I missed the deadline for submit, let's hope my team will get some decent points
Didn't pick Cancellara or Sagan, focused more on outsiders costing 6-8 points, hope it will be good.

As always difficult to balance it out. Trying to pick riders who will do the Vlaanderen swing after MSR. Styby GVA etc.

half of the squad

Will release the full team on sunday |

Am actually quite happy with my team. Won`t show it before it starts though.
But found it pretty tough to create a team with several leaders but also 4/6 point riders, that might be of good use while thinking about reducing the first transfers as good as possible.
I use to suck in those transfer games as I tend to have no transfers left after 7-8 races. Will try to avoid that this time. |

I've skipped the last couple and i'll skip this one as well. I can never get the hang of transfers so by the time the Ardennes rolls around i'm stuffed.... Or i pick all the riders who crash and become injured so am forced to use all my transfers really early
Just waiting on the Womens game....

Same here, I don't want to change too many riders after MSR. My big transfergame will be after the cobbled classics i think. |

Well I'm in, it was really, really tough to avoid getting too many 4-pointers, and fortunately I found a lot of under-priced riders and it was easier than how I expected for MSR: hopefully I won't fuck it up in the next races though.

Van Avermaet
Ciolek
Degenkolb
Bonifazio
Stybar
Petit
Cimolai
Navardauskas
Lagutin |

That's pretty stupid either way. Why would people pay more just for point inflation?

So hard to choose, if you take cancellara or peter sagan you're already taking out 20 points so there's only 80 points left for eleven other riders. |
