Tbh I had a small retirement speech planned, what with Danny being higher on the H2H level.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Yes! Made it through, Sylvain must have broken away, so doing a TT upgrade rather than a sprint/flat/Acceleration really helped.
Anybody find it silly how the (supposedly) two worst cobblists and Time Trialists meet in Cobblestone races and TT's. '
Oh, and sorry Cycleman, would have kept you in if I could.

Hopefully Danny will be back soon

Pleased to have topped the tables over the group stages, with the best overall record. That was my main target, but hopefully I can go further still.
A bit unlucky for HuDCC that he is knocked out despite having 2 more wins than jandal - including in their last head to head! It's good that there's a chance for new players to join - it seemed there were a few at the start who just missed out. It's provided a nice bit of peril throughout too.

If that's directed at me, whatever makes you think I'm bad at time trials?
Interesting that two of the quarter finals have ended up as repeats of earlier time trials.
---
Edit: And with a bit of research, not so confident about making the Semi Finals anymore! I see trekbmc, while often shouting about being weak at time trials, has upgraded TT stat by 35 since the start.

Looking back, not sure where I got that from, guess I assumed he was the same rider type as Lipawsky. will probably be hard to win then.

A shame to miss out on the finals, but that last loss was to be expected. A shame though to see that in the other conference a 4th or even 3rd would have been possible. |

Great to lose it in perspective of the finals so that I can still upgrade Plusvite. I think I'll take:
+7 sprint;
+3 acceleration

That TT training may have killed my chances to actually win the entire thing. Would've beaten Hayley anyways...

Yeah, don't think I had much of a chance, there, the opposite to fjhoeckie with not TT training.

Wow, pretty impressive! Going to be a close one against Pal but I'm fairly sure Plusvite will take the semifinal as the next route suits him perfectly

Thought I would lose given how much Lipawsky had upgraded TT, so great to win through to the Semis!

I started with 67 and probably got it up to 83, which is a lot smaller than my other stats.

Have you checked your upgrades? More than half of your upgrades have gone on TT, you've gone over the limit of 99!
