What's the point if they always just end for another one?

Because that's what they do.
Stories end.

Ever seen a writer write only one book in his career of 100000 pages?
No, he writes 10 books of 500 pages. Wink

The thing is: it's a 1-rider story, normally (at least I) would expect that it would end either on his retirement or on something critical, but in 25 episodes I see neither of those happening Pfft But I trust Mre wouldn't end it on whatever, so I'm curious for the finish. I mean, I don't want it to come, but since it will I want but at the same time as I don't want, understand? Pfft

I see what you mean. But in 25 episodes, something crucial can happen. Hell, in 2 episodes things can turn around completely even. We'll just have to wait and see Wink

Maybe someday we'll see a little Joey start his career in 20.....hm 2035 for example Smile

@All: Sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long. Normally, I wouldn't apologize twice but I feel bad because I have keep a faster pace on this story and I just told you the story was coming to end shortly (then some of you started to freak out, so I at least hope this tiny break calmed you down a little to enjoy the rest of story Pfft ).

I just came back here to say my uni work has been awful this week,
but luckily I only got 1 more paper due Friday. So that means...

I do what I can for my readers. Pfft
Thanks for the support. Wink

After a top 10 on stage 2 and the KoM jersey, guess what my reward was...
a "random" drug test the following morning before stage 3.

I'm not surprised, but come on, really? Do they think I'm that stupid?
I'm starting to think this PED stigma will never go away.

It's been 2 years, I've served my time. Isn't that good enough.
Don't answer that because I know some of you don't agree with me.
You didn't have to live with the guilt and harassment I've already been through.

After passing my drug test with flying colors,
(with the new technology they get results immediately... yeah Rolling Eyes )
it was on to stage 3. Breakaway -> Breakaway Caught -> Bunch Sprint.

Wet and rainy, and a bit of an up kick gives me a surprising advantage.
A good sprint and I finish 6th. Elia Viviani gets his revenge from stage 3.

The queen stage, the famous Mt. Baldy. The "memories" I have here.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-1_zpse6253b57.jpg

Not going to waste your time let's jump right to the climb. Breakaway caught.
Daniel Martin and Daniel Navarro attack. Kwiatkowski tries to bridge across.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-2_zpse97d6623.jpg

Martin leaves Navarro behind with Kwiatkowski and Thomas De Gendt joins them.
Craddock and I start working together to chase. I purposefully let Lawson
take longer turns on the front to save some energy. Don't tell him that.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-3_zpsf75c92d6.jpg

Meanwhile, the former World Champion Martin is riding away.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-4_zpsb9ac3099.jpg

Not much we can do but drag the peloton with us. Energy is low.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-5_zpsf54b32c8.jpg

But not for this guy. Daniel Martin! A class above the rest today.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-6_zpsc629a380.jpg

Navarro gets a gap on the battle for 3rd between Kwiatkowski and De Gendt.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-7_zps4e211776.jpg

Then 3 minutes after Martin finishes come Frank and Boswell for 5th and 6th.

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/S5-8_zpsa385f8d1.jpg

2+ minutes after them comes Craddock and I (and our group).
Not a great day but when looking at the guys that beat us, not bad at all.

Not the best 3 days but not awful. +1 EXP for keeping the KoM jersey.

The next race update will include the last 3 stage of the Tour of California:

i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/mresuperstar2/The%20Comeback/Season%2015/Ep2/NextRaces_zps6d49691a.jpg

Spoiler

My training is in your hands for the rest of my career.
After each race I can receive both EXP and Form Points.
EXP is a permanent stat gains while Form is temporary (the next race update).
A maximum of 3 EXP and 5 Form can be rewarded after each stage.

After any stage I receive EXP or Form points
you guys get to decided where I put those stat gains to use.

All you have to do is comment on which category you want
1 of the stat gains to go (Ex. Mountain, Sprint, Flat, etc.)
The EXP points are used up first followed by the Form.

Each member can only say one category for themselves.
And it will go until all the points are used up.

If you have any questions about my training, leave a question below.
It looks confusing at first but it's rather simple,
and this will be the only method for me to progress talent wise.

The number of f***s i give about form points is equal to the number of experience points that were left at the time of my post. Pfft

Well, some people do care, and enjoy helping Travis.
So don't ruin it for them!

EXP / Form Points Taken

EXP - Flat / Form - Prologue, Cobbles, Fighter

@The Hobbit: I guess it's the "stigma"... Really people? I give you 3 form points and you waste all 3 of them. I'm disappointed in you guys. Rolling Eyes Makes my job a lot harder. So, if Travis fails it's your fault. Pfft
