Transfers between teams are open: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1122975
Bunzl was 380 over the budget, so had to pay a fee that high.
Transfers stay open until Monday.
Edit: Oh and as the last years we had those problems.
After a transfer you have to pay of course the riders wage. So you have to calculate the Transfer Fee + Wage before making a deal.

@bikex: That idea for a new round 2 is great, but consider that open bidding would take much more time then...

We can still bid on free agents, right?

Power outage last night so I couldn't post anything
Frustrated that we went all out on trying to get TVG and lost the chance to get so many riders that we were interested in with Westra, Rathe, Ben King, Busche, Newbury, even Luis Crawford getting signed. Looks like TVM is going to be almost totally Dutch for another year, sorry US sponsors

Froome megadeal! I think he'll be much harder to beat at Prorace (if the deal comes through) and may finally get his Tour de France win, the team is imo the most balanced in the game.

Indeed but you could just let it run next to transfer rounds.

I actually much prefer the current system. Open bidding to and fro will take time as it does in the MG and besides why clone that system. The problem as far as I see is that some try to go for too many riders at once, greedily trying to corner all.
I realised for example I couldn't get Ulissi and Krueziger, so I went (and overpaid) for the better one and reduced Ulissi down to paltry sum in second round of bidding.
I also like that rider transfers happen after the first round of FA - much much more friendly for new managers - who are basically meat for existing managers to exploit by the looks.

This is exactly how I feel
BTW, I am thinking that this year it might be Nibali's time if BikeX decides to send him to the TDF. Italo at the moment looks like they have spent quite some on training for him.

I just noticed that. :/ When did that happen! He should be on 81. According to statpack file it would have cost c.580 MNT points to upgrade him, Bikex had like 90 MNT points. Well spotted. Presumable its a typo.

To upgrade a stat from 81 to 82, 83 points are necessary. I bought a stage racer stat pack for 800 last season and applied it to Nibali.
You can Download the statpacks use file and try it yourself. Apply statpack 2303 to Nibali and check out his new stats.
The pack contains 91 mountain points and so gets Nibali to 82 by 8 points.

I guess this is the game where cheating for the master is hardest as we can just check everything for bikex' team as well

Just making a note for everyone that I cannot get involved in transfers until tomorrow afternoon. I had an all-day sportive today and won't get back home to my computer until then.

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a wage budget for WT teams, and if so what is it?
I know the Dev Team is 1500max but is there a maximum for WT teams?

Dev team budget is max 1500, min 1000 I think. Not sure if there's a maximum budget for WT teams outside of that.
Quite a lot happened recently it seems. Gonna take awhile to look through all of these transfers before doing anything yet.
PS: I've finished writing the preview for the final Velo d'Or voting, not sure whether to post it now or wait until everything calms down a bit. What do you guys think?

I'd say just do it. The less waiting the better.

Maybe in the wait for the stragglers in FA R2 you could fill in the gap?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Hakse-ING could have an interesting situation.
They had 15 riders to sign with 4190 and after that Boom deal and the Arashiro deal they have 13 to sign with 2350 now but if they go through with too many more high deals around the 300 mark I see them getting some very average FA's.
