i'm guessing this has something to do with the gradient of the climb (sorry if it isn't)

it really isn't that steep because we have many 25% hills around my area with one included in the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride (a 70 mile/100km ride i do every year), called Terrington.

i never have seen so high procent in pcm

its steep, but in the Giro 2009, they have put in the Scanuppia Malga Palazzo, which has procents up to 30 %, and averages 17 % over 8 km.

i have seen higher... and in real life is it monte Zoncoloan has it's max at 22%

I saw a gradient climb to 40% in the Giro i think in 2008 it was very brief but caused a big break in the peloton. At Infineon Raceway in Sonoma California i did one of the races on the track and the opening hill has a huge gradient i think over 30% for about 1-200 meters.

I even saw gradients of -70% in a stage made by me.

i would say the funny is that he can ride with a speed of 40 km/h on such a steep hill

they aren't the only guy doing above 23km/h is the guy who is in the breakaway doing 45 on the descent

in denmark there is a hill with 22%

around my area all we have are sharp climbs like my 1st comment in the screenshot there are quite a few 25% hills

i prefer the 25%'ers to low gradient that go on for 8km or so, like i experienced when i went cycling in Spain
