With the release coming closer and closer, it's time to reveal what teams you can expect in the V2. In total, you will be able to play with 88 teams. Most of these will have 2009 shirts, a few will use their 2008 one since they haven't presented their 2009 shirt yet. However, when they do, you'll be able to download it here from PCM.daily and incorporate it into your game without having to restart your career.
We've also added 69 new races. Pretty much all of these have 2008 profiles since the 09 route is still yet to be revealed, plus it takes a lot of time to make new races -- which you probably already know. However, there's 2009 profiles for the following races: The 2009 World Championship RR and TT (SnelleJus), Tour Down Under Classic (Jaap90), Tour Down Under (Jaap90), Tour de Langkawi (Bilbo Baggins / PCMBenelux), Vuelta al Tachira (Buddy Mulligan), Dutch Food Valley Classic (Jaap90), GP di Lugano (Jaap90), Grand Prix Cycliste La Marseillaise (Jaap90), Australian Championship ITT (Roman_Kreuziger), Norwegian Championship RR (Johan92), and last, but not least, the Giro 'd Italia (Johan92). It's worth noting, though, that the Giro is still yet to be completely finished, but the profiles are correct.

I've been receiving a lot of private messages about more screenshots of the DB. As the Final Beta is being tested, we've made some screenshots for you to enjoy. These primarily show osme of the new equipment in use, and you also get a feel of what the peloton looks like with all the new shirts.
I can also reveal that the tests have been very positive so far. We haven't experienced any major problems, and we hope and expect that this will mean that we keep the deadline (start of February).
Another interesting feature is the possibility of creating your own team at the start of a career - something that has been very requested by the community. Other than that, there's not much news in the interview.
We've been pretty silent about the progress of the PCM.daily 2009 DB V2 for a while, mainly due to the intensive work we've been doing on the DB. However, with the Final Beta having been released today, it's time to lean back, watch the bug reports, and in about 1 week's time, fix them ;)
I'm not going to go into depth with the exact features of the DB just yet. However, main features are: 88 fully updated (roster-wise) 2009 teams, 68 new races, new 2009 profiles for Australian TT Championship, Tour Down Under, Tour de Langkawi, Vuelta al Tachira, GP di Lugano, GP de Marseille, the World Championship RR and TT - and the Giro d'Italia! You also get a very expanded equipment part with 77 frames, 67 wheels and 68 helmets. These have been linked to the teams, meaning that teams use the same equipment in PCM as they do in real life -- as far as possible. No more All-Cervelo ;) Of main features, we've also managed to implent 104 track riders to the DB, all with photos and realistic skills.
We've done far more than that, but as said, let's wait with the full feature list until later. Please keep in mind that all specific details might change before the final release -- I'm convinced they will, but only for the better ;)
I've been receiving some private messages about screenshots. With the Final Beta out, we'll make sure to publish some screenshots as soon as possible, probably tomorrow. This should give you an insight to what it looks like at the moment.
If you've any questions, don't hesitate with asking them in the forum. We're also still interested in accessory makers, and I'm sure we can always use a beta tester or two more ;) PM me if interested.
Everything is going as planned with the PCM.daily 2009 DB. The 2nd beta was released yesterday, but to ensure that we get a as bugfree final release as possible, we'd like to have more beta testers than the ones that we currently have. If you're interested, please PM me.
We're also looking for people who can do minor graphics such as team accessories. Gustavovskiy has previously helped us with this, but like everyone else, his time is limited. So if you can (and is willing) to do things such as transferts, 'jambieres', etc., please PM me.
