Previously, I've been posting status updates in the forum, but I've decided to move them to the front page / news section instead.
Last week, I mentioned that 15 teams had been added to the DB. In addition to this list (which can be seen here), the Gobernacion del Zulia team has also been added. For those who don't know, it's the team of José Rujano and Manuel Medina. We don't expect to add more than 1-2 teams extra before the final release, but you're free to come with suggestions to which teams the last two spots should go to ;)
We've also added several (26) new races to the DB since the V1. This brings the total number of added races (compared to the Plus Package) up to 61. We're still adding more races to the DB, so you can expect this number to increase before the release of V2. The 26 new races are:
Clasica de Almeria |
Boucles de l'Aulne |
Neuseenclassics - Rund um die Braunkohle |
Memorial Cimurri |
Druivenkoers - Overijse |
Campina Ronde van het Groene Hart |
Omloop van het Houtland Lichtervelde |
Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen |
Trofeo Matteotti |
Hel van het Mergelland |
Memorial Marco Pantani |
GP Industria & Commercio di Prato |
Clasica Ciclista los Puertos |
Tour de Rijke |
Memorial Rik Van Steenbergen |
G.P. Nobili Rubinetterie |
Schaal Sels |
Nationale Sluitingprijs - Putte - Kapellen |
Memorial Viviana Manservisi |
Omloop van de Vlaamse Scheldeboorden |
GP Stad Zottegem |
Rogaland GP |
Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid |
Course de Solidarnosc et des Champions Olympiques |
GP Internacional Paredes Rota dos Móveis |
GP Cycliste de Gemenc |
More importantly, the work on STA_objectif_sponsor_futur has also started. This is the table that controls the future sponsor goals given to teams. Unfortunately, this part of the DB was quite bugged in the V1 release, and we're certainly doing our best to improve this part to V2.
I also promised to get back to you about the 2009 GT profiles. As it is at the moment, it seems rather impossible to get all of them ready for the V2. ASO still hasn't released the necessary details for TdF 09, and we've 'staff' missing for the Vuelta. However, it seems likely that Johan92 will be able to finish the Giro 09 before the release.
Among some of the smaller details, I can say that we've decided to use Arnelesaffer's flags instead of the ones used in the V1 (they were made by Ivancin). Also, we've replaced the race category images (those purple and blue ones) with some much cooler looking logos made by Lampert. Thanks a lot to both of them for contributing :)
The first beta release of the V2 is expected within the next week, and if you're interested in getting your hands on this, feel free to contact me.
I'll make sure to post some screenshots (and replace the existing ones) tomorrow. This way, you can get a look on the current 'progress' of the DB and see some of the new and shiny 2009 shirts in-game. |
