Server Upgrade

Good news for the site as our host decided to upgrade our server. Bandwith will be more than doubled, no less! The change will happen in one of the next few days and may cause up to 24 hours of inaccessibility, depending on the individual users's internet provider.

After the Tour de France, the Betting season is all but over! After the Tour of Poland, you can now enter your bets for the Eneco Tour.

A.S.O. DB 2014

The Download for the fantasticly large A.S.O database has been available since last Sunday. This database includes many teams, a large number of custom teams to choose from, a great stats matrix and - with an additional stage pack - many, many variants.

Story of the Month results

With only 15 votes, the competition for the Story of the Month would be a close call. The Two of Us was the winner, with only 1 vote over In Pursuit of Glory and two over Il Bimbo d'brozo.

As for the New Story of the Month, Tour de France 2014 - The Failured Way took the prize just ahead of The True Prince.

Thread of the Week

August 1st always marks an exciting time, as we hear the first official transfers announced. With Peter Sagan signing for Tinkoff-Saxo, we have our first big transfer to talk about. And we do this in the Transfer Season 14/15 thread.

The next patch has been announced.

1.3.1.0 is an addition to the last 1.3.0.0 and as usual there are two versions. One that will update the game completely from 1.0.0.0 and one to only update from the latest 1.3.0.0 patch. Both download links can be found here:

Tour de France 2014 over

With Cheng Ji crossing the finish line on the Champs-Elysée, the Tour de France 2014 was officially over. After three weeks of fighting for glory, Vincenzo Nibali is the overall winner, followed by Péraud and Pinot, two Frenchmen. Peter Sagan takes his third consecutive Green Jersey, Rafal Majka takes the King of the Mountain. The next Tour is still more than 11 months away, but we're already waiting impatiently!

PCM.Daily's 100.000th member!

With the registration of fabiancancellaraisgod, PCM.Daily reached a milestone, for he is our 100.000th member! It certainly is a cause for a wee bit o' celebration, we reckon. The amazing banner made by valverde321 will be up there for a while, too.

Thread of the Week

With the Tour de France ending, it'll be another 11 months before a thread of the week can involve the Tour de France. For this week, I chose the thread concerning stage 21 of the Tour and - at least just as important - La Course, a milestone in women's cycling. After a bit over 2 hours of intense racing on the Champs-Elyséee, Marianne Vos is the first to write her name on La Course. Let's hope we see an extended version next year!

ManGame: on the move!

Coincidence? Perhaps not. But the fact is that the ManGame is picking up speed again, just when the Tour is slowing down and ending. De Ronde Van Vlaanderen has been raced and Paris - Roubaix is coming up, too. So keep tuned!
