More New PCM/TDF 15 Screens
As reported on Wednesday, Cyanide gave us 4 more screenshots of the upcoming 2015 versions of their games. We got two views of the Champs-Élysées and two views of climbing. Also visible were about 11 more fully licensed team kits from various WT and PCT teams. You can read the full thing below and click Read More on that article to look at the pictures.
2015 Giro Stages For PCM14
The years first Grand Tour is bearing down on us and now you can play the route in PCM14! Eyolfur has made all 21 stages of the 2015 race for PCM14 and released them over on the official Cyanide forums. Or if you don't fancy the trip there you could just click this download link. The stages are fantastic quality and Eyolfur really has done a top quality job!
April Graphics
If you're adding some new stages, why not add some new graphics at the same time? Just like most months we have a nice variety of members releasing various jerseys all through the past month of April. You can check out the top selection of them and then vote for your favorites by going to the April Graphic Contest. Even if you don't want to vote it's a great way to easily find some great jerseys.
Man-Game and Story Games
The Man-Game off-season ramped up a level this week. A ton of new information has been released about race's, HC/C2HC bands, XP gains, taxes and more. All this signals that Renewals is getting ever closer and that the madness of transfers is pressurizing nicely. That said two teams were already cut this week for failing to meet certain expectations, which was a shame. But the MG world must quickly move onwards!
The ICL found a bit of pace with some more events this week like Suisse and Rheinland-Pfalz. EPIC ground through the Dwars Door Vlaanderen. Hopefully these two games won't be slowed too heavily by increased MG activity.
CX: A New Dawn is on the edge of starting Season 2. Sign-ups closed this week with a great selection of new riders and members taking part. Even if you didn't sign-up i have to recommend following along because the quality of everything in the game is amazing, like this season preview!
Thread of the Week
Once again it is clearly going to come from the Cycling sub-forum. We are well into the depths of the season with multiple races every day at all levels from NCup to World Tour to Track records. The Other Races 2015 thread is the best place to keep up with all the non-WT action and is updated multiple times a day with PCS embeds. The News in "Month" threads are great to keep up with wider events like Alex Dowsett's succesful Hour Record attempt. But my Thread of the Week goes to Tour de Romandie 2015 where the pre-Giro build-up race packed in the action and discussion. |
