As warned yesterday, the giveaways are not completely over.

We still have a copy of both Divinity II and Yesterday up for grabs, and we'll do what we can to find a new home for the two games.

This time, all you have to do is to get a tip/trick or a stage approved in the respective sections of the site. Everyone who does that takes part in a lot where the first name to come up will win 'Yesterday', the next will win 'Divinity II' - both kindly provided by Focus Home Interactive.

We've recently set up new categories for the tips section, so it's also possible to submit editing guides for e.g. making shirts, stages and databases.

You can submit a trick here and stages for the Stage DB here.

The deadline for sending in content is on Friday the 5th of October at 23:59 CET.

Seeing this "tip" I am not sure if it is a good idea to make people post some.

I understand what you mean, but it isn't necessarily bad. I, for instance, posted a tip. I thought of it a while ago but now I got the motivation. It's a tip that's nothing to you, but gets asked a lot in the forums and I'm sure will help a lot of new players.
But I agree there will be people who will try to post anything to win this...

Useless tips wont be a problem really, since all tips must be accepted by an admin before they're published.

I have no idea how the tip Lachi mentioned got accepted, but if people start to submit similar tips, they'll be rejected. Wink

Does that mean, someone can enter the draw by simply taking my Gimp Tutorial and submitting it in the tips and tricks section?

Oh, and should I post it in that section?

miggi, I don't think the mods would approve of such a blatant example of plagiarism.

Sure, but its already a sticky thread in the Graphics section, so i dont know if it is really necessary to double post!

Kinda agreed. After I saw that there were the new editing sections on Tips and Tricks, I considered adding some of the tutorials that could be found on the forum - e.g. adding stages/races - but the forum offers more visibility, more space for questions and then it's kind of a double post. But if everything was compiled in only one place in the Tips and Tricks it'd be good also.

I actually think it would be great to have the tutorials on the tips and tricks section, even if it s double posting. Not all tutorials are sticky, some are in different game editions, and trying to find things in forums can be a bit of a nightmare.

I agree, it would be better to have all tutorials in the tips + tricks section, especially since most tutorials apply to more than one game version.

That just brings me to another thing. It would be good if the tips would somehow reflect that they apply to more than one game version. I don't know how to display it and also somebody would need to verify them whenever a new game comes out but I think it would be better in the long run.

Maybe it would even possible to have several versions of the same tip for different game versions.
