Surprise!
Yes, the 2023 PCM.daily Awards are finally here. Are they a literal half year late? Sure. But despite this delay, I would hate to have a year just missing and there are of course plenty of people and projects in this community that are very worth honoring. Check out all threads with the nominations and polls here!
Nonetheless, you will notice a few changes in the award categories, and more specifically that some categories are no longer in competition. This change reflects the changing forum landscape on the one hand, and the hope is also that an overall leaner process will increase participation both now and in the future.
If there are some cuts that you disagree with, or other shifts of the structure you could see as beneficial, I'm very open to suggestions. The Information/General Discussion thread is the place for that, as well as of course any other chat about the awards in general.
So, I encourage you to vote, discuss and use this as an opportunity to look back on what has happened here and in the cycling world in 2023. And don't worry if you feel like you've forgotten half of it - each award comes with a few sentences to jog your memory ;)
