With 2023 in the rear view mirror, it's time to get your nominations in for the 2023 PCMDaily awards!

When you've sent your nominations, please post in this thread in order to bump it, so we get as many nominees as possible.
Rules and Deadlines
1. You're allowed to nominate up to three members/topics per award.
2. You do not have to place nominations for every award.
3. Nominations must be in by 23:59 on Wednesday, January 31st (Daily Time). The sooner the better though, as we will need time to set up the voting threads.
4. Banned members are not eligible for any award.
5. Members with more than 20 posts are allowed to vote.
6. Nominations have to be PM'ed to baseballlover312.
7. There is no minimum or maximum limit on how many can be included in a poll, it will depend on the amount and spread of nominations for that category.
8. When the voting takes place, you are allowed to vote once in every category.

If you have any questions about the technicalities of a particular category, please ask below.
Note 1: Site Initiative is for an admin-led activity. The idea of User Project is to reward a member for the work they do on a particular activity, not to vote for the activity itself, which may be eligible for the Forum Thread or Forum Game awards. So when nominating for a user project please include the member's name, and the activity you are nominating them for.
Note 2: MG Manager of the Year is not meant to reward the team's performances - the intention is to repay the manager's commitment to the game when it comes to helping out, reporting, staying active etc.
Note 3: New MG Manager of the Year is only for the additions of the 2022 season. |

A bit late, but here we are. As you may notice, the number of categories has been reduced this year, in part as a reflection of the changing forum landscape, in part due to lack of nominations.
That said, I'm looking forward to honoring the winners. We'll have two weeks of voting, so the deadline is July 14th, 23:59 daily time. Happy voting!

Thanks for the great work! Feels weird not to vote in some categories because I just don't feel like I know anymore. Still always amazing to see all the recognition for the cool users and projects!

King Charles has led the nation in two minutes of silence in remembrance of men and women who lost their lives serving in the two world wars or other conflicts.

Tens of thousands of veterans and civilians joined the King in paying their respects to the fallen at the annual National Service of Remembrance ceremony at the Cenotaph in central London.
The King was joined by other members of the Royal Family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, and political leaders.
Events to mark Remembrance Sunday - observed on the closest Sunday to Armistice Day - are taking place around the country.
The King laid the first wreath on behalf of the nation. Dressed in the Royal Navy uniform of the Admiral of the Fleet, he saluted after stepping back from the Cenotaph.
The King was followed by Queen Camilla’s equerry, Major Ollie Plunket, laying a wreath on her behalf as she is currently recovering from a chest infection.
Prince William, Prince Edward and Princess Anne followed, then Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and the country's other political leaders.
