"It's like little kids on Christmas having to wait to open their presents. Only to realize that once they get to open them it's probably not going to be exactly what they wanted." - Mresuperstar (Release Time-thread)
PCM 2015 Release
The waiting for the newest PCM edition is finally over, with PCM 2015 being released this week. As recently announced in PCMDaily's news section, you can still support our website by ordering the game over gamesplanet.com, using the "PCM" promo code.
Of course there's a lot of PCM 2015 related threads/discussions underway on Daily: go and check the First Impressions: PCM15 or General Be a Pro Discussion to follow tons of first infos and mini-stories from the users' experiences on the first days of the release.
Also threads like PCM 15: Bugs should be places to visit now, as it may help Cyanide coming up with more patches afterall..
First Patches - first Realname DBs - first Editor
Only a few days after it's release, PCM 2015 should become more enjoyable with the first two patches and some realname databases released as well. Check the download section for those.
Lachi already came up with his first PCM 2015 compatible version of Lachis Editor, so it's about time to edit your savegames to stop your "Be a Pro" from being world class in his first season.
Story Section for PCM 2015 coming alive
The release of any newest PCM edition has often attracted those things called "community story", where you create your own fantasy rider to join the world of cycling. Jandal7 is the first to do so this year, coming up with MCP'15 (My Cycling Pro). If you want your creation to join the team Mapei-Bianchi, go and sign-up now.
The story section's newest entry: Be a Pro Stories from Ian Butler. The self-explaining title should tell, where you can share a little more detailed look into your BaP-experiences from now on.
ManGame Madness
The ManGame is well underway with a great pace of reports: the ProTour continued with the inaugaral Omloop Het Volk - a cobbled stage race with a cobbled TTT. Some weird gaps and many possible GC-contenders failing, while two wildcard teams took the primes here. Pieter Vanspeybrouck completing a huge race for BPost with his overall victory.
A lot of action in the lower divisions: Darryl Impey took the Barcelona Classic, Emmanuel Sella dominated the Vuelta a Tachira and also the next two stage races are already underway.. in the Continental Tour, Carlsberg's Marc De Maar rode to an impressive GC-victory in a thrilling Benelux Challenge.
As mentioned last week, go and join the ManGame Betting, which offers a whole new bunch of active bets today!
Thread of the Week
While TheManxMissile has asked us to make the "Release Time?" thread taking the TotW, my voice goes to the already mentioned General Be a Pro Discussion. It gives some interesting impressions from this certain newest PCM-feature, that certainly is gaining most of the attention this year. |
