In short, imo the best PCM I've ever played regarding career mode (have played 2006-2016 and every second year since then).
Though, afaik there are no big improvements in pro cyclist mode.
They have made an important change to Pro Cyclist. You can call other riders back to help you if you get dropped.
I'm still undecided from a brief stint in career mode. It's just a feeling but I've seen the odd thing in races that makes me feel there might be a few bugs left to iron out but I can't be sure. I saw a break of about 3 guys drop my guy and power along for half the race and win. A break wining is great but my guy at 85 couldn't get back to them and it just looked and felt bizarre as they were doing a pace that under the new stamina changes should have meant they collapsed. Only happened once and I could have been reading it wrong.
I also picked a sponsor without realising they were one of the richest because Cyanide still don't deem it worth telling us anything about a sponsor when you are creating a custom team. Can't filter by country so you can spend ages going through them. Don't know what countries they prioritise other than their home country and don't know how rich they are. I'll start a new career again later I think and use an editor to pick a sponsor that aren't too rich to avoid having it too easy at the start.
Many good additions though especially the scouting.

Ironically some of the "new" features in this game were already there in older versions. The scouting system and possibility to change trainers in team section for example! But I guess it is an improvement when it has been gone for editions. hehe
Otherwise i like it.. Especially the fixed AI in classics. They are now, finally, willing to coorperate in finals, juhhu. This means A LOT and i am happy not to finish every PR with 20 guys in the velodrome...
But again.. this was also better in the start 10's. The so caled improvements are just comeback kids.
Careers are as always great and i love the new rider interface

I usually buy the game about new year so major bugs and dbs are ok but this year i decided to buy it mid season and i do not regret it
