Nice preview.
Hoping with some support here Dan Martin can break top 15, maybe even top 10 on a very good day.

Very nice preview, thanks Laurens! Cool to see the integration of previous screenshots and captions.
Very happy to see Pluchkin is not here. Still, obviously quite a deep startlist with most PCT and some CT climbers choosing to come. This kind of race will be very dependent on daily form and AI strategy. One mess up and you're done.
It's cool to see Guldhammer at the top of the favorites list, but I'm not going to rely too much on that. Guldhammer has had some tremendous performances this year, but also some weaker ones when we actually needed scoring. He's taken a bunch of PT wins as an outsider, and finished runner up to a dominant Pluchkin too. But these races where he's a favorite have led to him cracking in some weird spots. Hopefully we can avoid that his time, and hopefully the race is sorted out before the descent, cause that's a weakness for him. He needs to use his acceleration before the top.
Looks like we have a decently strong mountain squad here as well to back him up. Obviously since it's C1, a few spots had to go to talents. But it's really only Warbasse missing from our main climbing cohort. Aranburu, Eg, Olesen, Roe is good depth I think if we play our cards right. I could tolerate a slightly lower result from Guldhammer if we score well in depth points, but we've always struggled with those. So let's aim to win.

I probably should have picked this race in hindsight.
Nice preview

According to the stats, Nairo should have some good chances for a good result. But he's been pretty bad on mountain stages that were no TTs so far. Wouldn't even be surprised if Masnada was our best finisher here.
I guess Guldhammer will take it again. He definitely shouldn't, as there are riders with better or at least equal Mo, better Sta, better Res - but somehow he just outperforms his stats again and again. PCM20 just loves Carlsberg - I prefer other beers
Thanks for the preview!

Hoping that Penansa can keep his recent consistency going. Top 10 should be a realistic target but hoping he can challenge for a Top 5 placing here.
Thanks for the great preview Laurens

This race turned out to be worse than I expected. Although I wasn't expecting a brilliant result I thought we would be able to get a place in the top 15.
Thanks for the great preview and report, and congrats BB

I've never come close to winning so much at this level, but it just keeps happening. I don't know what to say. Guldhammer just looked in complete control the whole time. Nerz tried to attack again and again, but judging by Guldhammer's posture, he never looked to be in danger from them. I was a little scared because our superdomestiques were well out of the picture by the final climb (and indeed finished well down the results). But he didn't seem to need them since the race broke up quickly.
I was also a bit scared once that second group came back on the descent. Once there are 10 guys there, it's really a tossup on a downhill finish. But I think I misjudged the profile. It does flatten out a bit at the end, which offered the perfect chance for Rasmus to flex his sprint and acceleration over the other riders in the lead group. There are very few if any pure climbers who can beat him on a flat finish when they all have energy from a descent. So this profile really suited him.
Thank you for an amazing report Nemo!

Pretty good result for us. I'll take a 6th anyday with this startlist. Need this consistency for the rest of the season. Theres not going to be any big results with my team.
Thanks for the report.

Disappointing to see Galta never really in contention. A top 10 was the goal, and 12th isn't good enough then.
Great win for Guldhammer and bbl, congratulations! Just a brilliant season your Danish leaders are having |

Better than what I was afraid of, definitely worse than what the shared best climber in the race should have done. Rest of team complete crap.
Guldhammer just annyoing by now. No explanation why there are some completely OP riders with PCM20. Although this profile obviously suited him tbh.
Thanks for the report.
Think I'll take some steps back from MG again, team does way better when I don't follow. Annoying.

Wow, Nerz was on a +10 day! Multiple attacks and still enough in the tank to finish 3rd.
Useful depth points from Arndt and Helme make this a very rewarding race for Kraftwerk.
Thanks for the great report Nemo and congrats to BBL.

Was hoping for a Top5 but 8th is an ok result for Penasa. Would've have been nicer with some depth points though. No reason for someone for Talansky to not be in the points scoring places here.
Congrats to bbl and thanks for the report Nemo

I was hoping for a better result here, but at least we scored some points.
Congratulations, bbl, and thank you for the report!
