 E3 Prijs
We're in Belgium for one of the last races in March and one of the last cobbled classics of the early season. A race that has been dominated by one man over the last 4 editions but, given this race is now in HC, he won't be here this time around so we'll have a new rider on the top step of the podium.

The only rider here who has finished on the podium in recent years is  Trentin and you'd expect him to be fighting for the win this year now that Bewley isn't present. It will be no easy feat for him as  Stallaert has had a stellar year and is probably the top favourite here.  Vanbilsen and  Daniel will also be ones to watch out for.
There is also a duo of top cobblers who are very strong but will need to ensure it doesn't come down to a reduced sprint. These riders are  Spengler and  Zepuntke. Obviously there are a number of other riders who will be trying their own luck and could also take the win so we'll see who is the strongest come race day.

After a disappointing day in Eritrea, I could use a Trentin bounceback after his middling first race. We have our top cobbles squad here, and it's a race that suits him, as he's shown with two previous podiums.
In this startlist he has a real chance at a great result. I'd love a podium, but maybe I shouldn't get greedy, so a top 5 is alright too. Top 10 is a minimum though, and I wouldn't be happy with just that unless we have a little depth scoring.

Hopeful for Hampus' chances here! A top 5 can't be expected, but less than a top 10 will be disappointing. And if daily form luck is kind to us, a podium is doable.
No Altur and Blythe also means it's less stacked at the very top, making me think there should be more room for riders like Hampus, and less danger of getting dropped in an early split or something. |

Very happy with that 3rd place. Obviously, you always hope to maybe win it, but there's no shame in finishing behind Trentin and Daniel, congrats to both. We had a Top 5 goal and achieved it, and Stallaert continues to deliver with his 3rd podium finish in as many classics. Hope he can keep that up for KBK!

What a freaking day. I was not super optimistic this morning, but two wins from our two biggest transfers and leaders in general in a single day is... well, it's perfect! No other way to put it. Best day in team history? Not sure if it's better than the day of the Warbasse/Fabbro victories last year, but it's definitely close.
Crazy strong ride by Trentin. Exactly like we'd draw it up, and beyond my expectations. Our team was all over the front in every screenshot. Then after the groups split up, Trentin was all over the front of every group he ended up in. It was clear that he was the strongest today, and he knew it. He wasn't going to take any chances in the finale, it was about ending the race before a sprint. And he pulled it off flawlessly.
As I said, great riding by the whole team too. Sinkeldam was clearly strong, and though he faded a little bit after his aggression, 13th is still a very nice result, especially when it's only complementing the points total of an HC win. And our domestiques clearly kept Trentin out of trouble well too, which paid off later.
Awesome haul for us points wise, but more so it's just satisfying to rack up victories, and it's satisfying to see a big money acquisition pay off in style. These are the moments I love about Man Game. Thanks again Heine!

Probably should stick with this attitude for the rest of the season Probably our best race so far and we'll need more of this going ahead.

A breakaway appearance is all I could've hoped for at this race, but damn. Poljanec in 32nd was so close to picking up some surprise points

Great 5th from Hampus!  Also very, very nice to see Jansen in 11th. Both have been great on the cobbles so far, the latter adding depth, but also being brilliant when he was given the opportunity in Herning. Add that Hampus again proves he's a rider to invest in for the cobbles, and I think we're looking promising for future seasons on the cobbles.
Super cool to see Trentin back to his best, and even with Carlsberg, which it's always easy to cheer for. Congratulations on a huge day, bbl! |

Guess we have to watch Trentin closely in RvV after this. At least it's normally a good sign irl. Congrats on a great win, bbl! I've always had a soft spot for Trentin, both here in MG as a former rider for us and irl, so great to see him pull off a big win.
