 Paris-Roubaix Espoirs
Welcome to France for the U23 edition of Paris - Roubaix. The Avenir offers stages for any kind of rider, except for cobblers, so it was time those youngsters also got what they deserved. No crazy preview but just a list of 20-ish riders who should be battling for the win, podium and other top-10 positions. Same startlist as in Avenir. Report should be posted Thursday, maybe tomorrow evening. Predict the right winner and get a signature from Alain Quispe!

Oh nice, I didn't expect this! Would love it if Chokri and Rutsch were able to do something here. Top 5 + Top 15 seems to be realistic, but with a field like this, I think it's anybody's guess how this plays out.

Our riders went for Aker leaders in Avenir, now they'll go for Grieg here with Stokbro. It's for the best since if any these guys ends up staying with my team, a couple will inevitably spend a year or two working for leaders of these teams.

Stavrakakis could be a top 10 rider here. I guess van Niekerk, Agrotis, Delettre, Kiriakidis and Guglielmi could even work as decent support riders all having between 62-66 COB.
I wonder if van Niekerk can actually be OK in a race like this with 66COB, 72 END and 75 RES. Ronde van Vlaanderen would likely be a top 5-10 race for him

I'll copy that! Stokbro have been a part of our cobbles squad in most races this season (though not the monuments), so he should have some good experience. Hopefully he can use that and get inside the top 10.

Oh what a beautiful race! Huge win for Chokri, letting our jersey shine like that! I was a bit worried when Rutsch was distanced early and he did disappoint a bit even with the work he was doing, but none of that matters because Chokri was just that strong!

Beautiful! One of my favourite races of the season - well reported!
Congrats to cunego on a splendid win  Fun fact, Chokri is actually a really nice guy - nice guys don’t always finish last! Happy to see Van Niekerk do well too and race aggressively.

Strong performance from Aidan, but Stavrakakis exploded completely in the final after being in a great position to fight for top 5.

Lovely race and really encouraging to see Stokbro doing so good. That was a pleasant surprise. Always very alert and a super effort to bridge over to the leaders towards the end. Given that he's a decent sprinter, I was starting to hope for the big one, but I guess it was a combination of waiting a bit too long and not enough left in the legs.
Congrats on the win, cunego!

6th & 7th for our two youngsters is damn impressive! They will never get this close to a Cobble classics win again
