Yeah, it’s too late but I think I should open this thread at least to comment Ag2r’s new jersey.

Wow, it actually looks really good. Pants are still horrible but the jersey is good.

Also, can we have a News in 2021 next year? This monthy threads are rather pointless when we a handful of news items in a month.

I do like it as well, eventhough the weird brown-white-blue ugliness was pretty unique.
And I also second the request for a single news thread next year, I think that's a sensible idea.

I agree. Let’s make that the first thread of 2021. |

So happy for the riders they can still shit themselves without anyone noticing.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Dumoulin approves.

Despite how ugly the old jerseys were, it will be weird to not see them in the peloton after so many years of those variations.
I'm still not sure this design is much better, but I guess we'll see.

I think the design is horrible. Its literally just words. Quite boring if you ask me.

All i can think of is...
Although at least this was banned due to the UK's strict advertising rules.
Make me wish for old school jerseys! That were made of fresh wool and weighed 7000kg

BMC is AG2R new(?) bike sponsor indicated on the jersey. GVA must be happy that he can finally ride a real bike again and not Giant lol

Some doping news:
Fernando Gaviria's brother-in-law, Fabian Puerta (also former World Keirin champion 2018) has been finally been banned for a failed test from June '18.

This. Looks like one of those tacky t-shirts that has Armani or some other brand written as big as possible on the chest.
Not to mention multiple people (since I assume someone did review what the designer(s) have made) must have thought writing Ag2r La Citroen Mondiale was a brilliant idea.

I'm not actually a big fan of the new Ag2r jersey, I'm already missing the old style

I don't see Wout leaving, Jumbo always treated him well. Money shouldn't be a problem either.
On the other hand he didn't have much support in the classics this season and with Wynants and Martens retiring it might get worse. Mathieu definitely has the better team at the moment, even in a PCT team.

I think WvA's agent would use Inoes' interest to get more lucrative contract for his client making him earn as much as Roglič and Dumoulin.
In other news Julian Alaphilippe is targeted by AG2R Citroën, but I don't think Alaphilippe will leave Deceuninck - Quick Step anytime soon.

Interesting. Isn't Aderlass connected to the former Gerolsteiner doctor and where all those slovenian positives came from? |

Not surprised of course. Preidler questioning in the SZ article how Roglic could become the best rider in the peloton & grand tour winner after being a skijumper & the general boom of slovenian cycling. Whilst fans are naive as usual towards this magic transition, at least some pros recognize the pattern of what is going on. He is also questioning the altitude camp of Sunweb prior to Dumoulin's giro win but Sunweb seems to be cleared as they were never approached and are known for their OCD training approach.
