When I joined the site, Guess the Cyclist was an extremely popular forum game, partly because it was so easy for members to just jump into. I thought now might be a good time to bring it back and see if we can keep it going for a while. Not sure we're gonna have the activity to keep it going long, but we might as well try.
Rules are simple: Someone posts a picture of a cyclist. The first person to guess correctly wins. That person then posts a picture of their own for others to guess. To keep the game fair, only guess once in each post, and wait until the host of that round has confirmed or rejected your answer before guessing again. Also, in this day and age it may be easy to reverse image search and get a name. We're playing only for fun though, so just play fair. I would recommend at least redirecting image links with imgur if the address would give it away.
I'll go first with a really easy one.

Indeed. He's a terrific upcoming talent. Hopefully he can soon reach his GT winning potential.

Great idea bbl, should be fun

Something about him scream Russian to me and iirc Karpets had long hair.
Anyway, hopefully an easy one as I'm going to bed soon.

I was pretty sure, but I didn't want to word it too boldly in case I was wrong.
Up next, another easy one but maybe not so blatant

I think it’s a very young Kwiatkowski |

Indeed, the previous rider was Dekker. Sorry for not confirming it last night.

Yup!
He's got a well known look. I thought some might have forgotten he spent a year at RadioShack, pretty interesting to look back on. I played quite a bit of PCM 11 as them when I was still in my Armstrong fanboy stage.
You're up! As Valv did, I'll try to take a step back too and get some new people involved.

Yeah, he's got a familiar face, but I actually had to confirm if Kwiato had ridden for them, very shy stint there and completely forgot about it.
Might not be so obvious but I think there are some clues here that can give away who this rider is, especially if you look carefully at some details. |

Venturini has never been French Champion though has he? Would've guessed Vuillermoz maybe (or Gallopin), not sure on whether one of those ever won it.

It is.
Venturini has won the French cyclo-cross national championship several times and I believe that picture was taken earlier this year where he retained his title. |
