Reports most likely not coming within the next 24-30h as usual and maybe not even this weekend already.
But feel free to get some discussions coming already.
Will give my best to get this one started as soon as possible.
Two days on the paves and 3 sprinter stages by the look of it. And lots of last years top10 are at the start again including race winner Baugnies or runner-up Vanbilsen.
The biggest favourites in 2019 though don`t know the race yet. Summerhill easily is the man to beat here, not only the superior cobbler, also one of the very best on hilly terrain then and in especially day 1 looks like you can`t underestimate this stat too much.
Vanspeybrouck surely hopes to improve from 5th and might even be the first challenger here. Podium chances are very good while Spengler must be named as well, even though his hill skills aren`t as good.
Stallaert, Zepuntke, Vanbilsen, Sibilla, Nolf, Baugnies the next in the list of top cobblers with some more outside shots due to better allround stats such as Breen (4th in 2018), Debesay or Sinkeldam.
| Fl | Hi | Cob | | Fl | Hi | Cob | Summerhill | 78 | 73 | 83 | Maes | 79 | 66 | 78 | Spengler | 74 | 64 | 82 | Breen | 77 | 70 | 78 | Vanspeybrouck | 76 | 71 | 82 | Kuroeda | 74 | 63 | 77 | Bakari | 59 | 55 | 82 | Kosic | 72 | 66 | 77 | Sibilla | 71 | 63 | 81 | Debesay | 75 | 74 | 77 | Zepuntke | 72 | 69 | 81 | Jacobs | 72 | 63 | 77 | Stallaert | 77 | 67 | 81 | Bolivar | 73 | 66 | 77 | Vanbilsen | 78 | 69 | 80 | Sinkeldam | 74 | 75 | 77 | Nolf | 74 | 66 | 80 | Albert | 74 | 68 | 77 | Baugnies | 78 | 72 | 80 | Bohli | 74 | 68 | 77 | Machado | 69 | 63 | 79 | Chatarunga | 72 | 67 | 77 | Ferreira | 73 | 68 | 79 | Eeckhout | 72 | 61 | 77 | Fenn | 72 | 61 | 79 | Grand | 72 | 65 | 77 | Bush | 74 | 63 | 78 | Kulppi | 73 | 67 | 77 |
Sprinter wise 3 days and lots of top riders decided to give it a try. Some even might try to grab bonus seconds for the GC fight such as Saber, Van Asbroeck or Stallaert with Roew, Havik being even more outsiders for this.
The main favourites for the sprints are Lo Cicero, Avelino and Guarnieri but around 10 sprinters not far from their skills actually.
| Cob | Sp | Acc | | Cob | Sp | Acc | Lo Cicero | 69 | 84 | 78 | Salleh | 58 | 80 | 80 | Avelino | 64 | 83 | 78 | Stallaert | 81 | 79 | 76 | Guarnieri | 64 | 82 | 81 | Havik | 76 | 79 | 76 | Saber | 76 | 81 | 79 | Rowe | 75 | 79 | 80 | Vantomme | 69 | 81 | 76 | Peeters | 68 | 79 | 77 | Zabel | 65 | 81 | 79 | Roelandts | 68 | 79 | 77 | Appollonio | 65 | 81 | 78 | Te Brake | 66 | 79 | 76 | Enger | 58 | 81 | 78 | Selig | 63 | 79 | 81 | Van Asbroeck | 74 | 80 | 78 | Reinhardt | 62 | 79 | 84 | Rowe | 67 | 80 | 70 | Pelucchi | 62 | 79 | 77 | Lavoine | 65 | 80 | 78 | Thwaites | 76 | 78 | 76 | Itami | 64 | 80 | 82 | Harrison | 73 | 78 | 81 | Manninen | 58 | 80 | 80 | Modolo | 68 | 78 | 81 |

Urgh not liking how stacked the sprint field is after Rowe, Saber etc could win stages last year - could make it very very difficult to even try and repeat last season's performances. Hope Rowe and Debesay can turn their flat classic results last month into actual cobbled form!

Hate to be this dramatic, but this is a HUGE race for us. We need big points from VSB in GC. Depth points would be good. And Appo can't finish outside the top 10 on the sprints. He has to survive the cobbles and then get consistent points on stages 2-4.
I'm not optimistic, but this is big for us. With mountains being so important this year, we've lost a lot of our versatility and we're paying the price. We have to capitalize on the cobbles. We HAVE to. Or we're going down.

Well, as I do love a bit of drama, Vanbilsen is probably going to be dropped on the hills, my sprint train will fail to form and Van Asbroeck will not get any result.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Don't know what to expect, hopefully some points will come our way. A good result for Zepuntke in the GC is out best chance.

Lo Cicero could possibly get some podiums, but GC-wice it doesn't looks very good. |

Well, basically what bbl said but I'm not that hopeful. The startlist looks too stacked for Saber or Havik to do anything. Let's have some of the Saber magic from last season please

One of like 3 races that Sibilla can actually lead for us so hopefully he can make use of that. Kuroedas are here to support but actually Shiki may have an outside shot at something if it turns out the hills are too tough for the majority of low hill cobblers which is about 75% of them by the looks of it.
Was expecting a weaker sprint field here, but if the cobbles arent selective enough the sprinters could really be big scorers here as lots of PCM cobble races end in big sprints I find.

Rowe and Debesay clearly realised they were out of contract if we got relegated Great performance, their best ever together for sure! Huge huge result if they can maintain it in the coming week. Really unbelievable teamwork and just riding in general to do so well, absolutely awesome.
Wonder if Stallaert can do anything in the sprints. Makes the huge field a double shame now (after how it disadvantaged Rowe ) as that could be a really interesting dynamic. Congrats YJ and the others who did well (nice to see a couple of the hard-working but boring cobblers in Nolf and Maes have a solid ride )
Debesay still looking pasty as though

Deja vu from De Panne, Zepuntke fading away but the domestiques holding on quite well. Surprised Vantomme did well, but he'll probably do nothing next stages.

Not the race I was looking forward to the most, but stage 1 was reasonably kind for us saving Avelino for the sprints, even though both Chen and Bouglas are gone.
Great victory for Summerhill, it should provide a good haul of points for Andorra. Congrats YJ!

On stage level very great race from "Clement Lhotellerie" but all in all the GC may not look that good as Ferreira took a huge time loss today.
Just hope it can make him attack on the final day.

Wow! That was an absolutely huge performance by VSB. Sucks to get dropped on the climb like that, but that selection is phenomenal for our GC hopes. That's exactly how we need him racing on a tough stage like this. At the front, don't miss splits, gain time with the final selection. perfectly done.
As important is the fact that Appo survives, and we only lose Asgreen, who wasn't much of an asset here anyway. I had to finagle my planning a bit to get Appo here instead of AKA, who would have surely DNF'd. Looks like I might have made the right choice, now hopefully he can deliver.
Really gotta feel for Lierse, stupid AI waiting for Van Asbroeck when it could have been Vanbilsen's day. On the other hand, I can't say I'm too sad to see Baugnies get dropped. I know it's bad, but he's hurt me too much.

Hell YES Results after confidence, Summerhill is doing exactly what I expected him to do and looking vicious! Hope he can keep this lead all the way until the end, some really strong teams, but we did good aswell and surely can keep it.
Thanks everyone and Roturn for the report

That's the sort of ride we want coming out of Maes. Good to see him trying for something, even if it didn't work out in the end.
Congrats to YJ for that win, and thanks to roturn for the report. |

Not as bad as I was expecting, but the fight is now for 8th place at best. I've got to stop training riders from next season. Trained Navardauskas, he got worse. Trained Havik, he's stopped showing up!
Congrats to YJ and thanks for the report!
