C'mon guys, surely the Worlds deserve their own thread?
Or did i just want an excuse to shout about WMN Cycling claiming Gold in the Womens TTT?
Both, let's go with both.
It's a fascinating course in Austria, show some love for the coming week of action!
Dumoulin to be the first ITT + RR Champ at the same time?
Sagan to shock everyone for 4-in-a-row?
Nibali to actually do something this year?
Which young talent will announce themselves in the Junior and U23 races?
Can anyone stop the Dutch in the Womens race?

finally a TTT that make sense (the only one among the year)
hope for Nibali really doing something (gold ), Dumoulin it's main favourite for TT imo but Dennis is very close to him, not like last year where I didn't see any real opponent, but I don't think RR is suited for him (one day races in general are not for him). Too hard for three crowned Sagan. Netherlands will rout Women WC.

Wondering if Remco Evenepoel can find some worthy opponents on both events.
U23 should be an open race, eyes on Tadej Pogacar, Ivan Sosa, Eddie Dunbar and Marc Hirschi. And maybe someone else I'm yet to confirm, as I haven't checked the startlist.
I don't follow much the Women's Calendar, but I might predict a 1-2-3 Dutch podium...?
And as for the Men's RR, prepare for Roglic and Alaphilippe. Nibali and Moscon could form an alliance, probrably for Il Squalo, I'd say. Oh, and Dumoulin can be an enormous surprise here. |

Moscon is looking good, but the profile is very hard, let see if he can do something important

I hope Evenpoel will be defeated by Karel Vacek. He's talented climber and I think he can beat Evenpoel. |

Today's TTT seems a 50/50 between Sunweb and BMC, Sunweb with the strongest team but BMC is BMC so..........
Dumoulin seems the clear favourite to the ITT, Dennis may be the only one to battle but it seems too long for him to beat Dumo, would love to see Jungels in 3rd..
No idea of the U-23 startlist but since WT riders are apparently allowed to race since last year I'd bet on Eddy Dunbar, obviously.. If not then the usual climbers previously mentioned, Pogacar, Sosa and Hirschi..
For the main event I'd go for either Roglic, Moscon, and some French (bet on Bardet).. missing some names that can certainly be there but those pics seems the safest (Moscon not very safe, but if he's good he's a clear favourite to win imo).

Deserved winner for the last event, 4/7 for QS is pretty good.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Parents told me the route goes straight past our house. It really sucks that I miss the wc iny hometown while being in Frankfurt. I had hopes to at least see it the main race on the weekend but it would be too stressful given the circumstances.

Wow, Elkov really defeated AG2R and LottoNL... They deserve this success.
Oh, Shonak, it really sucks... |

Mikkel Bjerg retains the U23 TT title. Brent van Moer and Mathias Jorgensen completed the podium. No medals for Affini and McNulty.
Just adding that Bjerg rode ferociously throughout the entire course, a deserved and convincing victory and another gem ready to be polished for the upcoming years. |

Sadly couldnt see it, and neither will be able to see Elite's TT.. But super happy for Bjerg he is a rider I'm loving to see even though I rarely even get to watch him race.
