Okey - today rolling stage. Pretty interesting breakaway with Pinot
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Call me traditional but I'd rather be watching the front of the race rather than the coastline for over a minute when there's 2km left... great directing...

In theory, Herrada can hold his lead until Saturday, tops. However, we've seen cases in the past (Pereiro '06, Voeckler '11) that prove cycling results are no proven science, so it will be interesting to see if the GC contenders will regret letting this break gain so much time later in the race... |

Herrada = Pereiro

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Bennett, you are failing to arrive at the hype train terminal station. |

If Quintana was supposed to be peaking for the Tour this year, he sure screwed it up. Regardless, he's clearly on form now.

I didn't find Rodriguez' win very credible but I loved it and I hope Euskadi can keep up the amazing season their having! I'm still dreaming of a Bizkarra win in Monte Oiz

What a last 5km Yates takes stage
Quintana probably the most frustrating GC rider I've ever seen |

Lopez just refused to work with absolutely anything. Not sure what he expected to happen then with Yates attacking away.
The gaps are still tiny though. Still wondering when they're gonna break open two weeks in.

Quinatana just keeps shooting himself in the foot. Lopez is 40sec down.
Instead of getting time on Yates and losing few sec to Lopez, now he lost time to both.
This is why he has never won TdF. He does not take up challenge. |

Lopez is really getting on my nerves. Such a blatant follower. And even when he attacks, when there's somebody with him he'll immediately stop.
I swear if he wasn't Colombian he'd get the same hate every wheelsucker does. |
