Unfortunately Gribble disappeared after a promising start and is the last to send the C1C2 Race Selection File for some days now plus is below the minimum rider limit post transfers.
Hence decision was made to go into the 2018 season without Ahold-Delhaize Cycling but the team`s disband will only occur after the season.
Instead roturn will take over the contracts on a 1-year base and is managing the team as "Rothaus - Aegon" with some riders included, that are posted in the next couple of minutes. |

Man, what a blow. It was bound to happen, but I really believed we were past any doubts now.

I don't know if I'm happy with this. It is a shock, but there are managers even more experienced ones within the PT and PCT ranks that weren't active til much much later - like TMM's Podium Ambition.
I'm not trying to rant, but if you're going to compete - you have to show at least some activity. And I'd confess - my free time now is limited due to real life circumstances, but I pop up when I can and almost all transfers I've done this season were while posting on my phone and to be honest it wasn't easy with my Internet connection beinh on/off the entire time (a mobile friendly version of the site would be neat)
And last year I've warned about a problem with these new managers who come and go in a case of "blink and you'll miss it". We had 4 managers who bailed this season alone.

Damn, he looked like a promising manager.
Even made a loan deal with him and no problem at all.
Cant understand people just quiting its such much fun
Obviously thinks can happen IRL that makes it hard.

Ivan, TMM is away all summer but provided detailed instructions well in advance.
We have to try giving new managers a chance, but sometimes their behaviour can be a bit mystifying.

Well, not a great year for new applicants, that's for sure. Of course, with applications down in number, it's necessary to accept guys on a whim that may not have been given the chance in past years. This might not have been an issue when there were tons of applicants and very tight critique of their application/activity beforehand. Obviously, that's just a luxury we don't have anymore. A shame it turned out this way, and now the admins are forced to clean up a mess. Sorry for all the managers who were in competition with Ahold all transfer season in vain.
That being said, we've definitely added a few great new managers this season, and as long as they become part of our core group moving forward, this should just be a small bump in the road. The admins have salvaged it in a fun and interesting way, and we should be able to build on it next year. Business as usual.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Whilst i agree that it is both disappointing and time consuming when a manager goes awol, we also have to understand that it may be because of actions beyond his control (i.e - accident or even a family crisis). |

Very disappointing to see Gribble out the MG, but I do feel for the managers who he outbid at the 11th hour whenever he popped up online...
Thanks Roturn for taking on the team and it will be good to see your B-Team in the race this year.
