Dear Pro Cyclist Managers,
I would right willingly like to replace the standard equipment with real equipment. For instance, Team Dimension Data is utilizing Trek frames and Zipp wheels, but I would like to change that and make them use Cervélo frames and Enve wheels, how should I go about doing so?
Thanking you in advance. |

You will have to edit that in dyn_brand_contract. What DB are you using that uses wrong equipment? Have you checked the Expansion Pack out maybe?

I'd love to utilize the "PCM17 Expansion Pack" but I don't want the statistics adjusted and moreover, the mini-shirt icons in-game are gone and replaced with a purple squares when using the "PCMdaily EP 2017NC". Adding to that, after a stage is loaded, there is only one universal jersey left in the peloton. Please see the pictures below.

Please check the FAQ for the Expansion Pack, you installed the DB in the wrong path.

Thank you, I'll try it again after I cleaned the mess up, but I'm not certain which folder one refers to: "To perform a clean install, go to your installation directory and delete all contents of the folder Pro Cycling Manager 2017. Don't delete the folder itself! Open Steam, go to your Library and right click Pro Cycling Manager 2017. Select Properties and go to Local Files. Click Verify integrity of game cache. Steam will now check which files are missing (all files) and will automatically download and install them again."
At the start of the installation, I confirmed to install Pro Cycling Manager 2017 in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2017, but at the same time, a folder 'Pro Cycling Manager 2017' was also automatically created in C:\Users\Name\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2017
I should delete the contents of the former, shouldn't I? |

No, it's not strictly necessary. Those 2 are both folders that serve different purposes, the one in Program Files is to contain the game files (graphics, stages etc.), the one in the Documents is where the database file itself is located, as well as your savegames. If you don't really care about losing savegames and stuff, then you might as well delete the Documents folder too.

All right, thank you a bunch for your aid already!
Thus if I manage to install the 'PCM17 Expansion Pack' correctly this time, how can I copy the statistics from another database to that one? |

You can use Excel Editor, take a look at it, it's in the PCM 16 downloads section under editors, but it works for all games since PCM 12.
It shouldn't be extremely complex to understand how it works, but basically what you need to do is download 2 copies of the editor, and rename Exporter.xls to two different names so that you can have 2 different instances of the editor open at the same time. From there you just copy the relevant stuff from dyn_cyclist of one db to dyn_cyclist of the other db. It sounds hard on paper but I'm sure that you'll get what I mean once you have it all set up.
