Problem with launching the game

Hi,

i've got problem like this: i've installed the game, but when I try to launch it, appears a communicate: "can't found d3dx9_42.dll". I downloaded this file from the internet, paste to "System 32" folder and then the game launches without any problem. The problem appears again when the game is loading... I've got "Rider Textures 100%", and then the game crashes. Sad Someone know how to fix this ? I can add, that i've installed this game many times and there wasn't any problem like this before.

You need to install directx 9.

When i click the icon to install, another communicate is appearing: "The DirectX program can be installed only on Windows 98, Millenium, 2000, XP.".

I've got Windows 8. Can I download another DirectX file, which will be compatible with my operation system ?
