Resistance or fighter skill?

If you are simulating a stage in Pro Cycling Manager what skill Will be Best of resistance or fighter?

Resistance is completely different from fighter. While the latter is used to determine which riders have higher chances to go in a break - the effect is significantly more noticeable in simulation than in 3D where it's almost worthless - the former is used to control how long, and therefore successful, an attack can be - basically the red bar.

Wait, I'm confused. Resistance always controlled yellow bar. What controls yellow bar now if resistance controls red?

when you play in 3D are the fighter skills also worthless for your opponents? Or its only worthless when you control the rider by yourself?

@bbl it used to be that until pcm 14, it's now different. Resistance pretty much replaced part of acceleration whilst acceleration also changed then. The yellow bar is affected by the main stats depending on the kind of race.

@kruse, fighter is totally useless for you because it doesn't add any skill to your riders. It's useful to a very small extent for the other teams because they can actually send their riders in a break also depending on their ftr. In recent pcms however the effect has decreased and other factors affect who gets in a break a lot more.
