Hey Y'all!
I was wondering, is there a tutorial on how to make jerseys? A step by step guide? Like the one on adding new sponsors to a db.
And, how to you get leader jerseys specific to one team to work in game?

2) add them to the teams folder in 3d/cyclists/cloth/team and name them this way: aaa_maillot_constant_time/mountain/young/points, where aaa is the team abbreviation that corresponds to the one set in dyn sponsor and constant is the constant for the race you can find in sta race.

Download my template pack for PCM15. It contains a basic tutorial for creating jerseys.

@Matt: I think he didn't ask for that. He just gave this as an example of a tutorial he did find
@hillis91: As an answer to your second question, you can add team-specific leader jerseys for the 3 GTs by naming them like this:
XXX_maillot_tour_time
XXX_maillot_tour_points
XXX_maillot_tour_mountain
XXX_maillot_tour_young
XXX_maillot_giro_time
etc
XXX_maillot_vuelta_time
etc
Just put them in the team's graphics folder (3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Team\XXX) and they should show up in-game.
* XXX is the abbreviation of the team

@haasje33 Thank you sir. I will start messing around with making shirts. So a "tutorial" is awesome.
And yeah, i figured that baiscly, it just didn't show up in-game, so the problem is on my end. Thank you both for the answer

Using the minimaillot tool, how do you avoid getting a black background?

The background is not black if you leave the tga files as they are and use them in game. If you want to convert them to dds, you'll need this tool: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/df2ifd9ct1...fT19a?dl=0 and tick "Alpha".
If you want to convert them to png/jpg or any other format, use irfanview, change main window color to white in the options - there's a tutorial on google - in the options of png conversion select alpha and use main window color as alpha.

Is there a quick tutorial on how to make some beutifull lines? Like on the NC jerseys?
Example, the NL shirt made by the great Haasje:

@SpartacusCancellara At what BP? And what filling? You guys get super clean looks, mine looks horrible. Do you know of a tutorial or is it just a trial by error thing?

Somebody who got this stuff down, should do us all the favor of making a tutorial. Specially on making design on the jersey. What tool's to use and what not. I think that would be very benefical for the entire site.

Well yeah, i've read that one.
It's super outdated and the making shapes part is not detailed at all. All im saying is, that if some of you elite shirt-makers have the time in the future. Please make one.

Right now, the focus of SpartacusCancellara, the_hoyle and myself is on the Expansion Pack. Once we've released V1.0, a brand new tutorial with some extended templates will be made.
In the meantime, try to experiment a bit with the Pen tool. It's really not that hard to work with.

I'd like to add that creating jerseys is not easy and you won't become an elite shirtmaker as you call it by just following a tutorial. The biggest part is to develop your own style and improve your jerseys by practising a lot. All graphics artists had to start at some point and work their way up by creating many, many jerseys. For example I've made over 100 jerseys to get to the level I'm at right now.

Yes of course, like i said, when there is room to do one in the future. And i also realise the fact that you don't become elite over night. But having a tutorial to go bye is waaaay easier then going in the dark looking for improvements areas on your own. Like your tutorial on PCM15 is amazing, it helpt me a ton.
