I've messed around with making my own stage race with 11 stages. I dont have any problems with the creation of the stages which i have done lots of times before, but I have never created my own stage race in a database before, this is a little confusing.
My stage race i meant to be in the month of April with 11 stages as I said. So far i have tried to follow this guide: https://pcmdaily.c...p?tipid=50
However, I have problems under '' gene_sz_filename: '' and '' First and last stage ''
gene_sz_filename: Someone with an example?
First and last stage: According to the guide I have followed, which is based on PCM12, you would insert IDrace + 1000 * stage_number into the two colons, but in my editor it is not possible to insert numbers. You just have a table already predetermined choices. This confuses me.
Btw, I use Fast Editor for the project. I don't know if this editor is the best, or there is a better and less confusing editor for this project. Correct me if that's the case.
Is there anyone who can explain to me how to do this, or hold an updated guide which makes more sense? :-)
After you have entered the stages in STA_stage (maybe only called Stages in the Fast editor) you should save your the DB and then load it again. Now your stages should appear in the choices for first and last stage.
CONSTANT really is only about graphical stuff. The race logos needs to be named the same as the CONSTANT, the leader jerseys need to have the constant of the race in their nomenclature etc.
If you're struggling to add a race to your db, it's most definitely not related to that one.
