I was wondering if Cyanide has again restricted the number of equipment items this year. I have still been playing the 2013 version because I enjoy having more frames to repaint in 90's team colors. |

You can link team frames to main frames by putting the abbreviation of the team on to the material in the map equipment.
By example:
frame_specialized
For tinkoff

Thank you martin365, I was unaware of this method. Does this also work in 13? I will give it a go later today anyway. Thanks again for sharing this information.
Sorry, I forgot to ask, but is there instructions to do this?
Okay I see, you just need to add the "_" and an extension I guess. Add the marquis number to your team and just select it in race? I have little time playing anything after PCM13, only when a co-worker brings his laptop to work to play on lunch break and I weasel my way in!

Sorry to say this, but this is nonsense. The filenames of equipment are very strict (Frm_XXXXXX_XXXXXX_00 or FTT_XXXXXX_XXXXXX_00; the XXXXXX being replaced with the brand and type names) and won't allow this type of names.
If you want team-specific equipment, you'll need to add a separate brand for those teams.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

PCM Focus has different brands for each team as I explained above. That's why they show up in your case.

Is this something for 2015 and 2016. I got this working 100% in pcm14 for sure.
Both frames and helmets that is. Haven't tried wheels.
I got as an example
Frm_Specialized_Venge_ast.nif
Frm_Specialized_Venge_eqs.nif
Frm_Specialized_Venge_tcs.nif
and of course the other _D.dds, _N.dds and _S.dds files named similar.
Frm_Specialized_Venge.nif is the one used by any other team than those
In the DB all teams for this bike have Frm_Specialized_Venge in the STA_equipment_model table edited in the field "gene_sz_asset"
I say martin365 is 100% correct on this

Like I said, the format of the filenames changed for PCM15/PCM16 because of the addition of the equipment sponsors to Career Mode. Because of that, this feature no longer works.

Is there a list of 2016 teams who has there own equipment. Like Kask there are some old files but they has the wrong logo and stuff like it. |
