So i wanted to start a new career game, im using PCMdaily's DB with the newest update.
I picked Valverde, and from the team selection screen, i noticed he had 81 Mountain. Now after ive actually created the career, it bumbed down to 79 - any reason why ? |

New declining matrix by Cyanide, it's a bit (too) random and these sorts of things tend to happen.

If only the beta testers had done something about this.

Its something to do with the database im using (PCMdailys v16).
Valverde starts off with 81 in the career, but after 1 month its down to 79. This does not happen with another database ive previously used.
Why is it doing this ? |

No, it's not something to do with the db, but cyanide's development system.

I don't have any explanation for this. You'd better file a complaint to Cyanide, this seems preposterous. Valverde, 79 MTN? |

I dont know if it sarcasm or not. But yes Valverde 79 Mountain, that is total BS.
But what annoys me the most is that it changes automatically.
Some people are using "x database" because they want upgraded/downgraded stats, i dont see 1 reason why Cyanide would do these "sudden ingame changes". |

Well if you really don't think so you might as well try using cyanide's default database and see what happens?
We have no way of changing the development system in pcm 15 and therefore we couldn't change the decline ages/speed. Just try the forum search, many people have had your same problem, too. I'm not telling you bullshit to defend databases or to attack cyanide, it's just how it works this year, like it or not.

Im aware of the changes when they reach "x" age. But this is different?
Valverde should start to de-stat at age 36 or 37 accordingly to an editor. Not suddenly after 2 months in the start of a new career game..

The decline age you find in the editor doesn't have an effect anymore. Like seriously, it's in the db but it doesn't work

Dont know about that. Seemed to work fine in my Tinkoff save.
Contador had a decline age of 34, and when he turned 34 his stats got lowered quite alot, so that worked i guess. |

Yeah as said it's a bit (more than a bit) random. Potential, current age, training method and obviously randomness come into play and there's no way to change that for a batch of riders. Declining age, however, is not a factor anymore.

Open Lachis and edit his stat back to 81 mo and 84 hill - thats Valverde stat!
