Welcome to the HQ of Shimano - Siam Cement Team. After two season as Siam Cement - Lenovo the team will go into it's third season. Mediocre results in the first PCT season made Lenovo decide to step down as name giving sponsor. Japanese cycling company Shimano stepped up to become our main sponsor, after the team already trusted on their wheels and groupsets the years before.
The team's main nationalities will stay Thai and Chinese, but Shimano also expects to sign some Japanese riders. On top of that it asks for strong European riders which should increase the companies popularity in the main continent of cycling.

Spoiler
The management still hasn't decided on which NC style to use, so two kind of jerseys are presented to the public for now.
I guess we can post now (if not, I will delete and rewrite my post).
Very nice shirt, slightly improved from previous season's ones. And about the NCs, I would say "Take the second" because it will surely stand out in the peloton!
Nice HQ, beautiful jersey you made there! I prefer the 2nd style of NCs actually.
Good luck keeping up your Asian focus, now that the market is more and more flooded. It will be important to find good replacements for your 2nd tier leaders seeing that a few of them didn't really live up to the expectations!
We are very proud to announce last years 9th at the Giro d'Italia as a signing for our team. After long and very hard negotiations we finally came to an agreement. Denifl will replace declining Emanuele Sella as outright team leader. Denifl belongs to the top climbers of the division and his signing will be crucial for us when we are trying to fulfill our sponsor goals.

Franzoi was signed from Meiji. He will lead us on the cobbles coming season, a discipline we never did well in so far. The veteran classics rider is looking forward to his possible last season in the pro peloton in that he can make an impact.

Sweeck will ride one year for our team, coming as a Loanee from the World Cycling Centre. We will accompany his development for one year. Sweeck will be a domestique for Franzoi in the cobbled races.
#2Riders leaving
Mark Galedo Rustom Lim
Our Phillippino riders were both released during renewals. Rustom Lim was signed by Red Bull - Huawei as a stagiare, we hope he can find a successful future in that team. Vitor Rodrigues ---> Novatek-Panarmenian.net Emanuele Sella ---> Elta-Hellenic Post
Our top climbers of season 1 (Rodrigues) and season 2 (Sella) both found a new home for next season, after we had no funds to keep them for another season. Rodrigues secured us promotion in the first season with his individual rankings title and Sella was the sole reason why it didn't go back down in the season after. We hope both can make their new teams as happy as they did with Siam Cement. Ismaël Kip ---> TVM - Beslist.nl
Kip found himself a new spot at a dutch team and is hoping to get better results at CT level than he did with us. Mirsamad Poorseyedi ---> KAYAK – Clas Ohlson Masakazu Ito ---> Ticos Air Costa Rica
Both riders were with us since our first season but now looked for new challenges. In CT teams they will have better chances for individual results.

Considering the climbing depth in this division, it may not have been the smartest move to only choose climbing goals, but we stayed true to our focus of the last seasons. With Denifl on board those goals should at least be possible. Especially in his home race the Tour of Austria Denifl is willing to shine.
