Windhoek ITT
Time for Africa to shine on the C2 calendar, as we travel to Namibia for a unique event. We’re talking about an individual TT where C2’s best specialists will try to overcome one another, in a 40km, more-or-less flat route.
Two times Windhoek ITT has featured in Man-Game’s calendars, having made its début in 2013. Ian Stannard and Michael Ford are the only ones represented in the honours lists of this race, but who will write his name alongside these two legends this year? Let’s find out who the candidates are:
Name | TT | Andrew Tennant | 78 | Manuele Boaro | 77 | Pierre Rolland | 77 | Javier AramendÃa | 77 | Viktor Renäng | 76 | Dion Beukeboom | 76 | Samuel Pökälä | 76 | Thomas Bontenackels | 76 | Nick Clesen | 76 | Neofytos Sakellaridis | 75 | Roy Goldstein | 75 | Gabor Fejes | 75 | Chris Barton | 75 | Michiel Van Aelbroeck | 75 | Laureano Rosas | 75 | Dmitriy Ignatiev | 75 |
Tennant looks fit to replace his countryman as this race’s winner, but Generali brings a two-spearheaded lead to challenge him for the victory with Boaro and Rolland on their lineups. DeLaval and TomTom also bring very interesting leaders with Pokala and Renang on the Finn’s side, and Beukeboom and Clesen with the dutchs. Let’s not forget Aramendia or Bontenackels who look quite menacing as well, while the list continues for a while longer.
Don’t forget to tune in on MGTV later today. Cheers

Looking at that TT results of the/his season so far, I expect Tennant to finish from 6th to 18th..

Tennant will win this. It's a close Top-4 afterall, but I feel he will deliver. If Generali would miss a podium, that would be sad to see

Ah, one of our very few C2 races. With 2 eligible 76TT guys I couldn't let the opportunity slip. Surely one of them will do well?
On paper they should both be Top 10(with hopefully a Top 5) but we all know what daily form does this year. So either a win or both outside Top 20

Probably I should have joined here as well. But before I realized that I can ride C2 races at all, I had my season planned already.
Not exactly sure what riders would be eligible here as I doubt Dumoulin would?
But surely some of Vandewalle, Clement, Pauwels, Marangoni, Frison had been and as 74-76 or Dumoulin 78 time trialist I should have done pretty well here. |

So I could have sent a 76-75-74 combination here...quite unfortunate I didn`t. |

A top 8 from Fejes would be an excellent result for the team. |

I'm quite looking forward to seeing especially Pökälä here. Last year Renäng was disappointing in Windhoek, so he will have to redeem himself though the peloton seems stronger this year.

Cheers for the nice TT report
Can't say I'm too happy with my guys out there today. Some of them really disappointed me. |

Gratz Matt; I'm content with second place. After recent months this is a good result for us finally again. Thx for report.

Pity that Tennant couldnt take the win, but at least there was no repeat of the randomness of Chrono des Herbiers.

Was just predictable that 1 of my 2 lads would be crap and the other good. That's the advantage of having 2 TTists here I guess.
4th is something I can be content with!
Although Matt probably disproves my point. Awesome race for him.

Ignatiev and Kasa changed roles for us. But seeing that 8th place is really nice.
