It's now time for CT teams to find out their HC bands, so who's racing where?
It was always going to be unlikely that all teams got what they wanted, and that has proved to be true, with 25 teams wanting to race in the most popular Band 1. Therefore one team had to miss out. The unfortunate team is the returning felix_29's squad Anheuser-Busch InBev. For the rest of the teams races like the Giro del Trentino and Tour de Pologne should be great watches with full fields present.
Band 4 proved second most popular with 22 teams wanting to participate. This means two both popular bands include cobbled races, which is a sign we could see some great battles on the cobbles in the CT. Band 2 followed closely behind it with 21 participants wanting to take part in new races such as the Tour of Scotland and Tour of Iceland.
The least popular of the four bands by far was Band 3. With just 17 teams racing, teams in this band will hope their teams can capitalise on smaller fields in races such as the 10-day Tour de Langkawi and the season-closing Zuri Metzgete.
Meanwhile, 2 teams failed to send in their choices altogether - Maserati-BEAC and ScotRail-RBS.

The first 4 C2HC races in the season are all in Band 4, so I'll be looking to one of those 22 teams to take an early lead in the division.

Doubting between 3 and 1 for third choice, looks like I made the wrong choice
Anyway, glad almost everyone could get their preferred bands. Feeling sorry for felix though

Happy I chose Band 3 for the final spot. The other two are the most popular, but it suits my terrain and I have to stick with that.
I'm admittedly not too happy about 22 teams being at GP Herning though.

GP Herning is in Band 1. So a full field is taking part.

Well didn't have much trouble selecting so happy to have gotten them though it would have been nice if they had been less popular

Funny you say that, I was about to do them when I received the PM from SN. My fault, as I posted in the other thread. I'm very sorry to you all, best of luck with your choices, I'll be following!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Sorry Felix!
Happy with my choices. Band 3 looks good for easier points, but my sponsors will be happier with these races.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yeah, but does that mean a small rider list or will PCT teams ride in those races, too? |

No PCT teams in C2HC, they can participate in C2 though. |

Definitely happy with those results, I'm also happy that I got slightly different bands to Fablok, it means we are doing something different. Thanks Froomedog! |

Wow, good for us. We secured the place in band 1, and got in to Band 3. As SN mentioned, I hope Band 4 will give us a kick start into the season |
