This is a story where you will follow my career. I will post screenshots of the year's results and other things. You can ask for SS for anything. The best riders in mountain, the best Chinese riders and so on! Only creativity is the limit!
So I'm in 2025 now, and to sum up I have taken some SS of "Season Stats", but there are fucked up. But you can see, who won the different races (only the biggest.
To any update from now on, there will be a little text that describes the year.
The goal? To play as far as possible.

This is really close to the db I'm making but it's pretty interesting. Athough my season stats broke so that in 2017 all the grand tour results are wrong (as well as the UCI results being weird).

Kelderman didn't win a GT. I don't care how good he did nonetheless, still I'm sad.

Maddox 2050! By the way, what I did in my long PCM 2009 career to keep the full stats "alive" was to make a copy my save game (created a new subforder every year) at the end of each season (before the new riders join you) so I could review the full season stats for every season. Not that I ever bothered reloading them, but might be an idea for you.
With those subfolders I can also immediately see how long my breaks were before tackling another season. I started early in 2010, played up to season 2015 and then took a long break between October 2010 and June 2011. Similar behaviour the next years, apparently I like to play while the Grand Tours are on in real life.

I think, that you won't make it to 2050...but I hope so.
It would be really awesome, if you could pull that off. But in my PCM, everytime i am around 2035, my game starts to annoy me, because there are around 20 guys with 85 MO and stuff like that...
I wish you the best of luck.

Yes indeed, and in PCM 14 it got much worse than in the other games.

Sorry for the late answer.
I play sometimes. Mostly, I play, RVV P-R, AGR, LFW, LBL, WC and some stages in stage races if necessary. |

2025
2025 was an intense year, which saw a whole lot. This spring's major stakeholders can be mentioned very short: Italian Rodolphe Ribiere and the three Danes, Felix Ballin, Henrik Borg Hojer and Sander Engelstoft.
Rodolphe Ribiere won Milan-Sanremo, E3 Harelbeke and Gent Wevelgem of spring classics, where he every time crossed the finish line with a single companion whom he beat in the sprint. The 28 year old DNB ASA rider did not manage to win one of the great classics. In the Ronde van Vlaanderen he was riding solo in front, but he was caught shortly before the line by Felix Ballin, and so the Italian had to capitulate. In Paris-Roubaix he was in the favorite group all day, and when it came to the sprint between the front 11 riders Ribiere pulled the second-longest straw, only beaten by the executioner from the Ronde van Vlaanderen, Felix Ballin.
Felix Ballin, Alessio, won the two major in Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix. Here he showed superior strength, where he also proved that he is the best cobblestone rider right now. But actually the spring season until the two races was not so good. The only other victory was GP Pino Cerami, while it was places as 4 in Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, 8 in Dwars door Vlaanderen, 13 in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and 21 in Gent-Wevelgem. The 26-year-old Dane peaked at just the right time.
Henrik Borg Hojer had a fantastic Ardennes week. First the Dane won Amstel Gold Race in a sprint between him, Daan Olivier and Zico Waeytens, and not only that, he hit also Luke Postlberger and Silvio Herklotz in Fleche Wallonne. The adventure did not last forever, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, he had settled for fourth place, where Matej Mohoric triumphed.
The last major profile in the spring was Sander Engelstoft. The 27-year-old teammate to Ballin and Hojer won almost everything he competed in. It was a stage win and subsequent overall victory in Tirreno-Adriatico and overall victories in the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya and Vuelta Ciclista al Pais Vasco. The Dane also won the Tour de Romandie for the third time, and he thus compensating Stephen Roche's record.
The Giro also had Engelstoft on the menu. He won the race by 6 minutes and 57 seconds to Maxime Le Lavandier with Louis Meintjes placed third. Engeltoft's victory was already established on the first stage where Velux won the team time trial with 33 seconds Katusha. Sam Bennett took two stage wins, the green jersey also, Arnaud Demare also took two stage wins, but Sander Engelstoft was also the big winner of the stage wins game when he took seven stages along the way. Additionally, Engelstoft also took the victory in the Criterium du Dauphiné immediately after the Giro.
The Tour de France also had a Danish menu. There was never any doubt about the winner, and right from the race start Benjamin Boesen was flying. The Velux rider won six stages along the way, and Boesen won by 3 minutes and 50 seconds to the teammate Michael Pedersen with Lukas Postlberger placed third. The winner of the points jersey, Jaroslav Bilke, won four stage wins, while Matej Mohoric won three of them.
Vuelta a España was again a Danish affair. Sander Engelstoft was superb once again, and he seemed almost untouchable. He won everything he put up in. Actually, there were four Velux riders in the top 10, all Danes, and in addition there also was Danish Noah Arendt from Team Sky to find in second place. Engelstoft also won six stages, and thus he won a total of 13 stages in two Grand Tours in one year. Impressive!
Then a World Cup waited where Denmark were the favorites in both the time trial and road race. However, it was the brotherly people of Norway who got all the attention. First Stein Slaatta won trial narrowly ahead of Bob Jungels, and in the road race Sondre Holst Enger got silver after being beaten by Irish Sam Bennett in the bunch sprint. Denmark's best place in the time trial was last year's winner, Felix Ballin, who was eight, and in the road race Elias Rohde won bronze. A disappointing effort from Denmark.
Sander Engelstoft had a fabulous season and the World Tour ranking he ended up with 1155 points. It plugs into a higher contrast, he also won 35 victories. Therefore, it was expected that he superiorly won the Velo d'Or ahead of Benjamin Boesen and Sam Bennett.
You can answer the questions for the next season in this thread, and the ranking can be found in the first post! Who will become the greatest PCM.daily member? Let the battle begin!
