I was thinking of putting a thread like this out there at some point, and since Ive had a couple of PMs on the topic over the last two days, I figured I would post it now.
This is a thread to gauge interest in joining the Management Game once the current season ends, which should be in about 2-3 months time.
If you aren't currently a part of the game but think you might like to apply when applications open, please let me know by either responding to this thread or PMing me. And if you already have a team idea then I would be interested to hear that too.
This information will help with the planning process for the 2015 season.
I don't have a clue how many spaces for new teams we will end up having, as it will partly depend on how many current teams disband - and how strict I choose to be against some of the current teams who are 'barely active'.

Hi, yes I am definitely interested and have been thinking about a team idea. I want to be sure I can dedicate enough time to it before I commit as I do not want to take up a place and be 'barely active'!

Prep should start in a month and a half, maybe two months. Actual season starts in about 3-4 months.

You should probably see this thread as a chance to prove you wont dissapear at once by claiming interest early and then send a good application later. Nothing is more irritating than managers leaving even before transfers are done

those people need to be sorted out at the beginning,
most of time we don´t know how, because it happens later on.
but still there has to be a way to get those people out and the good ones in 
anyway, I will keep my interest in the game, and won´t forfeit like those guys you just mentioned |

is there anything that we, mostly I  , can do which offers me a better position to get chosen for the new season? I have just a shitload of free time in the evening,
and i only sleep for maybe less then 5 or 6 hours average |

Stupid joke, nevermind.
Anyway, i would say that best way is to follow the actual man-game season (last month of 2014 season have recently started) and having a plan for what do you want to do in the man-game if you would be accepted and having a plan for a team. Then you can show these plans in your application and hope to get in.
Reality is, that if you are known as active member from other forum parts, you have a higher chance, so that could be a little problem for you seeing you registred just recently. But that does not mean you cant be accepted of course.
EDIT: these are just my advices from manager that was going through similar process, i am not part of team that accept people in (just to make it clear).
