Now open it and install it, when you download a .torrent file or when you find a magnet link, just click on them and utorrent will download them

Definately your fault The software itself won't give you malware unless you are downloading them via non-official sources. Then if you get any malware it's packaged inside whatever you've downloaded, a decent anti-virus software will eliminate 90+% of threats

Well, it depends from the files you download with them. They don't scan the download files, unless you are talking about the offers that come along with the installers of the programs, sometimes an AV blocks them as adwares

Definitely your fault, if you clicked on them. Though, even if we're going off-topic, I'd sugggest you an ad-blocker like ad-fender or along with a free av like Bitdefender free
