Help Needed With Small Database Copy

I'm trying to copy/paste the names and stats (only) of riders in a PCM 13 cdb into a PCM 14 database. However, my computer keep acting up when I open an editor, so it is impossible for me to do it myself. I was hoping someone could please undertake this simple task for me. What you have to do:
1. Copy the names and stats of riders in a PCM 13 database which I will send you.
2. Paste them into a PCM 14 database.
I have been told this is a simple task, as the jerseys and things like that don't have to be converted - I just want the names, as the equipment and jerseys will be whatever is default in PCM 14 - and that using the excel editor is the easiest way to do this.

But which DB is it in PCM13 and which DB is it in PCM14? Because you might need to assure compatibility in some other things like the ID of the countries/regions, the team IDs would already have to be the same, etc.

Well it's my story save which is based off of Jesleyh's Realname in PCM 13, and it could be any db in PCM 14.

Okay, so I misunderstood exactly what you wanted in your messages to me. My point still remains the same. You simply can't just copy over names and stats. Teams will be horribly broken and crash the game, regions could cause problems if any riders aren't from a country in the game, all this stuff is built into that CDB file and links to files and images in game.

I'm 99% sure that the countries would be in the game, while the weather and stuff shouldn't cause a problem because it should still be in PCM 14 (if I understand correctly, please tell me if I'm wrong). How much time would it take to just do names and stats, to see if that would work?

But, for example, will you carry on teams, too? If yes, then you'll also need to convert DYN_team. And by converting DYN_team you'll need to make sure the sponsors are compatible (at least that the sponsor IDs used by the teams are correct). About the countries, it's not about the countries existing, but rather them having the same ID. For example, Eritrea in the Off. Release has ID 41 I think; in the PCMdaily DB, it has ID of 94. So you can't just copy the data to "any PCM14 DB".
Since your career is with Jesleyh's real name DB, which I believe is based on the Off. Release, there's a good chance that if you copy your stuff to the Off. Release at least the countries/regions should be correct (Cyanide isn't much fond of changes in the DB  ), but you'll still have to adjust at least the teams/sponsors.

I'm planning on making the teams the same as they'd already be.
So for example, RadioShack became Sporza, but I don't mind it going back to becoming RadioShack. Any team which disbanded could just be replaced by whatever team replaced it in real life.

Deleting the old bump post and rebumping is not valid Anyway, I can give it a go if you want to convert only stats/names in one of the simple real name DBs from PCM14 (that is, a real name DB based on the Off. Release), but you have to provide a valid link for downloading the DB (just attach it to the post, it's easier)

Ok, here's my go at merging the riders of your DB into canojuancho's Basic Real Name DB. As expected, there were several IDs different (number of teams was different, teams from PCM13 no longer existing/new teams in PCM14), so, as you said, I've assigned the riders to one of the teams in the PCM14 DB that were not in your save. I've tried to be consistent, that is, WT teams still staying WT, a German team still being German, but it's not always possible to get it correct (even because, for example, you had 2 teams in your save that were WT which don't exist in PCM14, while PCM14 only had 1 WT team that wasn't present in your save), so I suggest you take a look at least at which teams are WT/PCT/CT and perhaps change some sponsors to be more realistic Here's the team changes:
