The Cobbler Issue 2.2ct Released
Mhaley45
WoW!

It did not take long for me to lie to you this year. I said that issue 2 would be released about April 7th. WRONG!

After starting on the issue I quickly realized it was going to be too long, so it has been split into three parts. One for each tour.

The first section is done so it is being released. It covers the CT Team rankings.

https://www.mediafire.com/view/km7r1ir...r2.2ct.pdf

For once the CT teams are not last in the pecking order. I remember my year in the CT, so I hope you enjoy the team rankings and a small slice of a key race preview.

Sorry all you PT and PCT managers, you will have to wait a bit longer.
Best projection:
PCT issue - Issue 2.2pct released on Friday 4 April
and the
PT issue - Issue 2.2pt might not get done until Monday or Tuesday the 8th or 9th.

As always if you find errors please let me know via a PM.

Enjoy.

Very nice read, and I'm glad my backup plan went unnoticed even by the expert Wink
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Mhaley: this looks great work and is a really great read.

I have to say this looks dangerously like a preview which we do not want to be released before ALL planners are in.

Focussing on the CT cobble season may just about pass through, but others should wait until after planners are in.

Great read, will be cheering for Haes especially in CT Smile

Why Smowz?

Considering small amount of cobbled races, all cobblers in all divisions will have enough race days to easily race all of them. Can't see how it can affect anything.

I'm just putting it out there but I'd rate De Haes as a bigger threat than Aulas in the division. His higher cobbled and hill stats will leave him much fresher come the end of the race.

As I say this is great work, I am really looking forward to the previews but they must come after planners are in. Yes cobbled races are but a small component part, even this though gives a small insight perhaps for a ct manager who has yet to send their planner in. Giving an advantage to a manager who actually is holding the game up.

Looking good for Ringheim and Declerq to put in a decent fight for the middle and lower Top 10 positions so that Herklotz's C2 days aren't actually wasted.
Especially Declerq's 71 hill should come in handy for Lincoln GP. Smile

Lilholt has 73 cobbles BTW. Wink

But great read. Really looking forward to the season more and more. Amazing work you do! Smile

SMOWZ makes a real key point, that I should have anticipated. Race Planners are not finished. The CT may not be a serious issue but the PCT and PT would we a real blunder on my part. Thanks SMOWZ for kicking me when I needed it. The PCT and PT issues will still be published but we will not stray into an color commentaries or previews.

BASEBALLLOVER312 I will make updates to Lilholt as soon as I am done posting this message. Thanks I always want to be as accurate as possible.

KNOCKOUT I got your PM and you make a good argument one I will take action on after the Race Planners have all been finalized (See SMOWZ's earlier posts).

CIO93 Since your team is a PCT team it was not included in the CT rankings. If they did get a CT Cobble race they would certainly challenge for 10-15 plsce and Lincoln GP would be Declerque's best chance. Hold tight a few more days and the PCT rankings will be released.

Nice read indeed Wink
Shame that there was no mention for Cedric Lebris Wink

Cedric Lebris will be a points earner. His Achilles heal is his lack of stamina (69). Riding on the cobbles is an exercise in resource management. The best teams find ways to keep their best riders fresh deep into the races. The longer the race and the more cobble sections (really kilometers of cobbles stones) will make riders consume more stamina.

The top cobblers in the CT have stamina ratings in the range of 74-76. Lebris surrenders a lot of ground before the races even start by giving up 5-7 points of stamina.

The terrain rating of the race also impacts stamina depletion. Cedric's FL/72 is just above average for the CT but his HL/64 is below average. That is a shame because the shortest cobble race on the CT tour is the Lincoln GP rated Hilly.

No knock on Lebris, he is ranked in the top 10-15 CT cobblers, but this year there is a big separation between the top 5-7 riders and the riders 8-15. He will be a steady points earner but unlikely to threaten for any podiums.

Technically only the top statement is true and stamina only comes into affect somewhere around 180-200km+

So in a race of 100km of just cobbles the highest cobbled stat will go fastest the stamina won't come into play.

But you are correct that it will come into play in CT cobbled race as i think Tro Bro Leon is 190km and the other cobbled race is 230km.

It's been proven by test Avin change 2 riders stats to 50 everything one 80 stamina one 60 set them on dot at 60 they will ride and consume the same stamina all the way to a point around that mark then the one with 80 will ride faster and consume less it sounds stupid till you watch it happen haha.

Avin Wargunnson
I know about all these tests, i just dont believe it Pfft

Because what i have seen in my careers or man-game, where riders with great stamina are fresher even in races under 180kms, especially cobbles. We can at least roleplay it. Grin
