After the debut season in the CT division of the Man-Game, Mobil is back and with a whole new format. After Castrol left, Aeropostal signed a deal for two seasons with the team. This lead to the team becoming known now as Mobil - Aeropostal Ciclismo. And for 2014, things will get big. Our promotion to PCT is something really big, and now, with a whole new approach in terms, things might look promising to Mobil in 2014. |

Jose Alarcon
Jose Alarcon is perhaps the biggest Venezuelan (sorry Rujano) rider of the moment. Top climber, after an awful season of now disbading Team Bintang, he has no 2014 team. Looking at his wage of 2013, it might go higher in 2014.
Walter Pedraza
Walter is now 31. And with Koenigsegg also disbanding, he will too be a free agent. And his wage is much lower than Alarcon. Top climber, with decent TT skills, should prove a big value in PCT if we're able to hire him.
José Serpa
Serpa is now on full decline mode. 34 years old, but still decent. With his wage probably beeing much lower than 2013 after a bad year with Evian, as a captain on the road and as a top notch helper for the leader of the team, Serpa is still useful and we are looking for him.
Raúl Granjer Cabrera
But every team can't live of climbers right (unless your name is Santander obviously). Raúl was Pedraza's team-mate last season at Koenisgsegg and he has top speed definetelly for PCT.
Joseph Dombrowski
Joseph is a big talent. And he has just become USA NC. And he will be free agent. With pretty much zero chance of hiring him, though, he'll still a big goal though I won't go crazy on him.
Yonathan Monsalve
Monsalve is young, talent and venezueland. What more can I ask? And he's free agent too next season! Definetelly with the talent to become leader and a helpful helper beside (hopefully) Alarcon, he can definetelly be a big asset. |

Announced 2014 Season Goals
After the 2013 season we're we achieved 2/5, for 2014 we decided we're are going for sometihng a little bit more ambitious. So, let's start.
Win Vuelta al Tachira
Our win goal. Vuelta al Tachira is the most important race for our sponsors and anything but a win won't be acceptable. Obvisouly, we're thinking of Alarcon for this.
Top 5 Cartago - Irazu
Another mountain goal. Another one thinking of Alarcon. A torturous mountain race, and top 5 is definetelly an ambitious goal since probably all of the PCT top climbers will be there.
Top 5 Tour of Vancouver
Our HC goal. And another America Tour goal. See the tendency here? Top 5 is an ambitious result, but, again, it's done thinking of Alarcon. I have a feeling this will end up bad.
Top 10 PCT Overall Standings
It's ambitious, but achievable if we get the signings that we want too. Hopefully though, it will be achieved.
Win America Tour Standings
By beeing an american team, we are going full out on this rankings. We pretty much are going to each race held in the american continent (hopefully). Hopefully, with that, this might be achieved. But it will be hard, and really ambitious. |

Very, very ambitious goals and transfer targets! Though, I like it, kind of reminds me of my own team and goals in the 2012 season, where Alarcon was outstanding.
And speaking of transfer targets, it's extremely unlikely that you'll be able to sign any of the others if you're able to land Alarcon. Monsalve and Dombrowski should definitely be out of reach then.
But good luck! It's nice to see a team focus on Venezuela |

Thanks, good luck for you as well. And they are really ambitious, just hope we're able to do them.

We'll sure meet. At least with the large number of south american teams now, don't take away my targets.

Alarcon's 2012 season was indeed amazing, but last year it was dull. Maybe combination of bad planning plus the stupid PCM12 Mountain AI and he didn't do the great stuff he was supposed to do.
Regarding transfers, obviously Monsalve is just a backup in case Alarcon falls through. Dowbrowski is more of a name to please Mobil as a sponsor, since signing him will be pretty close to impossible. |

Your transfer targets do look very similar to mine. I can see a few titanic battles coming along.

If we can come to a good price regarding Eduardo Silva then I believe we will be meeting this transfer period.

As the transfer period get's closer and closer by the minute, the HC Calendar for both the PCT and CT teams we're announced. On today's arcticle, we'll be talking about the HC races that Aeropostal will have across this season. We've got all our four top choices and hopefully, we can grant good results on all of them.
Down Under Classic
Post Danmark Rundt
Tour of South Africa
USA Pro Cycling Challenge
The most important race for us in this Band is the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, as it's part of the America Tour. A mountainous race, it is important that we score a lot of points there.
Corsica International
Tour d'Andorra
Tour of Vancouver
Mountains, mountains everywhere. What more can we ask? Vancouver is part of the America Tour and part of our goals list, and obviously, it's very important for us to get it. Andorra is also good, taking care it's mountains everyday.
Dutch Food Valley Classic
Int. Osterreich Rundfhart
Interlagos GP
Tour of Oman
Urkiola Igoera - Subida Urkiola
Interesting. In Interlagos, part of the American Tour, a man says, with a gayish tone, hello to it. Dall'Antonia is a happy man by looking at the route. There's mountains as well, and one flat classic. Oh, and there's Kitzbueler Horn.
Clasica San Sebastian
Manx International
Tour of Beijing
Volta a Portugal
It's interesting. Portugal is interesting to me, personal wise, results wise it only counts towards PCT rankings, which also counts. So it's good. Manx International is in the American Tour and hopefully it just adds to we look for a hilly leader. |

Yea! Meeting Mobil in bands 1,3 and 5! Nice to see my favourite (I think) American/South American team with a very similar schedule to mine! Looking forward to racing you. I don't think we'll provide too many problems for Alarcon, if you so happen to get him, in the mountains

Well it seems that we will find a lot during the season because the HC races are exactly the same as mine..
Although the desired cyclists are not the same I think we will look at the market for the same type of cyclists

@aidanvn - Yep, it is all about Alarcon.
There B plans though in case I don't get him though. Hopefully, much cheaper ones.
Renewals should be coming up in the next two days, maybe even less. |

Why do you keep mentioning Dall'Antonia's name in races I clearly target? Was this way last season, will it be the same now?
