Hi!

I know many people says it´s impossible to decide the weather during a stages, but I was just wondering whether it´s possible to affect it in a specific direction (etc. high temperatures). I´ve checked it out a bit, and under the table "Sta_Region", you can point out the chance of a given temperature.

So if I ex made a race in USA, set the region to "USA" in STA_Stage and STA_Race, and then set the chance of of temperature 6 and 7 to 100 % in STA_Region, would it then be between 30-40 degrees every stages? Or is there other things which affect the weather during a stage?

You got it right for the temperature.
IDtemperature of 6 => Temperature between 30 and 35°C
IDtemperature of 7 => Temperature between 35 and 40°C

But the PCM weather is also a combination of wind force and rain. Maybe that's defined from fkIDclimat value.
With previous PCM, it was possible to set wind force and rain probability (and also altitude for snow I think)

Do you know what the "gene_f_chance_potx" (x= A number from 0 to 7), means? It´s also in the STA_region table.

I guess it´s impossible to edit the Climat, though.

% of chance of a rider from that potential (0 = potential 1; 7 = potential 8) being generated in that region.

Well, that´s nothing to do with the weather Wink

Do you know other way´s to affect the weather? Or is it possible to somehow find a scale, which indicate the chances of a given type of weather in a certain climate?

Can you copy the details of the Tour of Qatar? Pretty low chance of rain there.
