Good evening chaps
On starting PCM '13 the first few times through Steam I had no issues.
Since then I have added the Expansion pack and now the screen resolution is too big every time, I can't see any of the menu buttons at the top right of the screen.
The PC resolution is set to 1920x 1080 (recommended) but the game's resolution just appears too big.
As I can't see the 'settings' button in the main menu, I can't even change the resolution in the game.
Please can somebody help or advise.
Much obliged. |

Have you tried re-setting it in safe mode ? |

There is an XML config file somehwere in my data\pcm2013\
I don't know the exact file location but you should be able to find it eventually, or ask again.
Open that file and edit the resolution. |

I remember I had the problem in PCM12 and I deleted the config folder?
I won't guarantee that'll work but give it a shot?

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

The resolution is within the option file which is located there:
C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Pro Cycling Manager 2013\Config\Options.xml
Watch/Edit the the following lines (My resolution is 1680x1050 for example):
<Option_HW_ResolutionWidth>1680</Option_HW_ResolutionWidth>
<Option_HW_ResolutionHeight>1050</Option_HW_ResolutionHeight>
Also it is interesting to note that some options within this file can not be set in game. You can tweak some hidden parameters (like the Vsync or Fog options)

Good afternoon
Thank you for all your suggestions on this.
It's much appreciated.
I did get around to trying the 'safe mode' option and unfortunately it did not work, the game would not even run.
I will give the others a god and let you know how I got on. |

Hi guys
I'm afraid I can't find that options file.
I'm using Steam, so perhaps it's somewhere different.
I ran a file search and nothing appeared under that name.
Further help would be appreciated |

Hello
I found the file 'DefaultOptions' and changed it to different resolution settings (1920x1080 my default) and it made no difference.
Any ideas chaps? |

If I recall correctly, AppData is a hidden folder, so are you sure you've enabled seeing the hidden folders?
