Am trying to export Stylus' Milan-San Remo 2014 to my DB as per the instructions supplied by lluuiiggii. Have checked the race on stage viewer and now in stage editor I am trying to export it. But the following problem keeps on appearing:
Check Stage Report
1 Error
1- Sprint object near intersection
How do I fix this?
Also in the Lachis editor, what race id number should be chosen? the next available number (my list finishes at 411) so should it be 412 or another number earlier that hasn't been used?
On the gene_sz_filename how should I name the Amstel Gold race to make it different from the existing one? (the link left me even more confused)
Big problem with ID first stage and ID last stage, as all the available numbers are already used in other race ID's?

Have you edited something in the .zcts? If yes, then there's no need to export the race, since Stylus already provided the .zces and .cds files in the download Additionally, I believe you're talking about the tips and tricks about how to add races in the DB (which I linked to in another thread of yours)? If yes, that's only for brand new races (for example, if you wanted to add the Tour of Dubai). If you want to add a variant of a currently existing race, it's very simple and doesn't require any DB editing. In the case of MSR, all you have to do is name the .zces and .cds file as "topclas_sanremo_2014" and place the files in CM_stages

Yes I now have the Milan-San Remo 2014 working thanks.
Now I tried to do the same thing with the Amstel Gold but that doesn't come up in the database. I labelled it topclas_amstelgold_2014.cds and topclas_amstelgold_2014.zces. I'm guessing I need to do something else with these files? |

It's the same thing, but the name is "topclas_maastricht_2013" (though it can vary from DB to DB, in Daily's f.e. it is "topclas_maastricht-daily_2013"; if it doesn't work, the best to do is open the .cdb file and check what it should be named in table STA_race).

Also what is the difference between Pellizotti's Amstel and the normal one in the db, I've just checked both of them through stage viewer and I'm not sure if I've actually got Pellizotti's!!! as both look very similar, but I'm sure there must be some differences. |

So there was no point me downloading it then hahaha as I already had it?
Is the Fleche Wallonne in the pcm daily database Pellizotti's one as well?
But of course Stylus' Giro di Lombardia is not already in the DB?

I don't believe you.
Also do you or anybody know about the three variants in the PCM daily DB in the Tour of Flanders?
As there are three to choose and I know the race has been changed a couple of times recently and am guessing that 2013 and 2014 reflect these changes. Is the 2012 route in the game the old traditional Flanders route or one of the newer routes? |

Believe it or not, no Lombardia variant is added. And yes, considering that I was the one who set up the variants in Daily's DB, I do know about the variants of the Tour of Flanders The 2013 route is the 2013 route, it comes with the game. Then there's the 2012 route, which is the traditional one with the Muur van Geraardsbergen, for people who like me prefer the old version; and the "2014" route is the same as 2013, it's just set that way so that, in 2014, in careers, it will still be the 2013 route (since the finish in Oudenaarde - 2013 route - still won't change in 2014).
In the real life race, there have been a few route changes for the 2014 edition, but that's not included in the DB (since these changes were only revealed recently and the DB has been released for months). I've seen more than once people saying they were working on the 2014 route (f.e. ricardo123), but not sure if anyone's finished it yet.

I've now included the Giro di Lombardia in my DB and it's a very different route to the one already in the DB.
Checked out on stage viewer the 2012 ToF route and the Muur van Geraardsbergen (I always call it the Muur de Grammont) and its the route that I'm used to, even though I still like the new route.
Isn't the Muur van Geraardsbergen meant to now be in the E3 Harelbeke, I've not noticed it in the game but I've only played the E3 about twice and last played it some time ago, so don't remember if it was on the route or not. |

The Expansion Pack doesn't add any Lombardia variant, so I imagine you mean it's different to the one that comes with the game. Well, Stylus has made 3 Lombardia routes: one is the real 2013 route, which should look very similar to the one that comes with the game. Stylus said that the version which comes with the game is "not realistic", while his version is; I don't know what he means by that (definitely not many changes profile-wise), but anyway, we decided not to include it in the DB since it's a very heavy stage, Ian Butler f.e. says in Stylus' thread that he waited for more than 10 mins and it still wouldn't load. And many users don't have the most powerful computers

I think it wasn't included in the 2013 route.

Well besides the three versions of the Giro di Lombardia that Stylus has done, I've also seen that Emmea has done three as well 2010, 2011, 2012 editions. It seems there is no shortage of Giro di Lombardia's to play, it seems a very popular race for designers to do. But it's also the monument that has had more route changes than any other one, they seem to change the route all the time.
Talking of the Fleche Wallonne, I've also seen that Andrepg has done two variants of the Fleche Wallonne as well.
