Hey guys,
I'm still trying to get my PCM11 carreer ported to PCM13, so I started a save on PCM13 and I am going to try editing the teams and riders in my PCM13 save to match my PCM11 save.
First though, I want to get the save to December 30th 2017, the date of my PCM11 save. I am currently on December 30th 2015, and I found that skipping manually through two years of PCM13 with the PCMDaily DB takes a very long time.
So I want to ask you if you know a way to skip ahead that works, by editing something in the save.
Cheers.

I don't think you'd need to sim through at all. There should be a way to set the date. F.E. Daily's 2013 DB for pcm 12 a neew career starts on 01.01.2013, not 2012. There's probably a line in the .cdb somewhere.

You can change the start year... oh god where was it... ermmm.... Try searching cause i know it has been mentioned before. Of course nothing else changes, just the date.

Gam_config?
But the riders won't have developed and no new riders be generated(and no sponsor changes etc.)

GAM_config it is indeed. And btw, not sure if I got it right from your first post but I believe it's easier to edit teams/riders in the 'normal' .cdb, then start your career (already in 2017) than to create a save and then edit it.

Thanks guys.
I ended up making a new .cdb by copying and then editing the PCMDaily DB Backup, and placing it into MyDocs.
GAM_config turned out to be really easy, not even a unix timestamp required.
Now comes the hard part of transferring the teams, riders and stats of my PCM11 save in 2017, to the new PCM13 cdb, and make it work with the new division system.
I guess I'll have to use the excel editor, and somehow link the PCM11 rider data to the PCM13 rider data and then replace it.

You could use the excel editor/full editor to copy column by column of the main columns (copy the IDs column, then the names, etc). Same for teams, though you might need to check the sponsors (the IDs of a some sponsors have changed). Could copy the palmares tables too (you can copy the whole tables, since no columns have changed in the palmares tables), sponsors you should let the one from the PCM13 DB. Not sure if there's any other table to be copied, I guess these are the main ones.

Cheers man.
I'm pretty much building up to copying and pasting things over now. Most importantly is gettting the columns and riders sorted out.
PCM11 had some extra columns due to the old recuperation system that I had to remove. Also because it was a save I am going through all the columns to check if I have to empty them out to create a startup DB.
Also the PCMDaily DB has 17 more teams than my PCM11 save so I am going to assemble some extra teams from the PCM11 riders without a contract. Plus I need to delete about 1000+ riders without a contract from my PCM11 save, that were generated over the years, to get the total number of riders on PCM13 level.
Once all the columns and the riders are cleaned up I will start thinking of porting over tables

Not sure if I understand this part. If there were 3000 riders in your save, you just copy them all and you'll have 3000 riders in PCM13. Or if there were 4500, you can just copy them all and you'd have 4500, regardless of the number of riders in the PCM13 DB, and same for teams.

Yeah, but I am concerned about playability of the DB in that case:
Copying 4900 riders to replace 3500 riders would make the DB bigger unnecessarily, with a large amount of generated riders without a contract. I want to prevent a large increase of total riders in the DB so I am going to keep the number as low as possible, perhaps even lower than the 3800 PCM13DailyDB original, by removing unwanted riders without a contract, to be able to cover for an expected increase in rider numbers over the years.
Copying the teams over would give the game 17 less teams to fill the PCM13DailyDB calendar races with. I want to keep the dynamics in races the same so I want to get the same number of teams.
By working with my PCM11 save back to the original PCM13 amounts am hoping to make the game work a bit better
Process has been going good so far. I am currently updating the soundbites from my PCM11 Dyn_cyclist column to match the PCM13 soundbites. Once all the columns in Dyn_Cyclist are updated to PCM13, I'm going to do the Sponsors and Teams tabs.

A quick update and a question.
DYN_Cyclist is converted to the PCM13 format, but I still need to go through the riders and delete the excess, as well as assign some to new teams. Currently I'm working on formatting DYN_Team from PCM11 to PCM13. I've added additional teams, done the equipment, the rider orientation, and the race preferences.
Right now I'm stuck on fkIDcalendar. I know that it specifies the preferred race calendars of riders on that team, but I wonder if it's worth updating. The programs have changed from PCM11 to PCM13.
-On one hand I want the teams to ride realistic programs.
-On the other hand, team rosters and sponsors have changed over the years, meaning fkIDcalendar1/2/3 set at the start of the DB lose their value over time. I'm 5 seasons years into my game and with all those PCM style transfers I seriously doubt if updating fkIDcalendar would make any difference at all.
As long as the game selects the right programme for the big leaders in each team automatically, so that f.e. Froome Riders the Tour and Boonen RVV/P-R, I am happy.
My question is, to what extent is fkIDcalendar important for that, given my situation?

I'm pretty sure fkIDtype_leader sorts out what kind of leader they are, then on the start of a career fkIDtype_leaderspecialisation sorts out which races tehy peak for.
as far as I remember fkIDcalendar would be for making sure the italian teams ride teh italian races and the french teams ride the french races, e.g. Lampre rides Trentino. it might also have a small effect on wildcards, but I don't think that's ever been tested.
