When trying to race the WC ITT, the game only featured the option quick-sim, not 3D-play.
Quick-sim didn't even work, so I advanced through simming ahead on the calendar. But then the WC RR had the same problem.
I'm playing with the PCM Daily Realname Database, edited lightly (but correctly). What could be the problem? (Playing as Norway, btw)

Is this in the career?
If not, try another country like france, spain, italy or germany. |

Forgot to say, thanks. Yes this is in career mode.
I'll try it in single race mode, though. But I can't access my laptop until Sunday, so I'll do it then.
Could that be a problem, the country? If so, how come? A mistake in the database or something? |

Maybe Norway does not take part.
You can look it up in DYN_national_team
Did you selection the riders?
Check DYN_cyclist, the columns gene_i_selected_nat_team and gene_i_selected_nat_team_itt

I've selected riders (for Norway that is 5 on the Road, 3 in the TT for pre-selection)
Well, before starting my career I checked the countries taking part in single race mode, and Norway was one of them.
In career I was auto-assigned to Swiss (BMC), but I changed it to Norway in an editor. I've done this before (different countries) but had no troubles. |

I tried in single race mode, no problems there.
So it has to be the career, for some reason.
Would it help if I attached the database? |

The problem escalated. I advanced by clicking on the calendar again, but the game freezes at 02/10. No way past it...
Loaded another career, no problem there.

I hope somebody can help me here. My story depends on it. But since everyone does everything for free on this site, I can only hope and thank you for trying!

Sorry for not answering your question, but IT'S POSSIBLE TO PLAY THE WC AS CLASSIC?!? Does that work in '12 too? If so, then how?

@Ian Butler: I am somewhat out if ideas. I did not look into your save because I don't know where to look else. Did you have a look in the thread of the daily DB, maybe a known problem? https://www.pcmdai...rum_id=148
Did you load a weekly save already? Copy some of the latest files (1,2,3 or 4 weeks before the WC) to the save game folder and then load, and quick sim to the WC to see if you can proceed. But don't forget to check first, if road and itt selection of norway is OK. |

Only in pcm 13 and in classic menu, it has it's own section I do believe. |

I'll try a weekly save when I have the time, thanks for the advice.
Somehow I've got a bad feeling about it, though. I'm starting to think PCM 13 is very prone to crashes and corrupted databases.
Though the problem is no longer the WC. (Well, it is, but it's worse than that). Now the game's come to a complete stop (will not continue in any way).
So I'll try the Weekly Save, since it's the only thing left to try. Thanks. |

The 'complete stop' thing happens on 03/10, right (the date on which you attached the save some posts above)? If yes, well, I loaded it in game (without editing anything at all) and simulated up to 14/10 with no problems really. Quite weird but if it's working, who needs an explanation Attached is the save in 06/10, right before Lombardia.
About the Worlds problem, I took a look at DYN_team_races and found no line for Norway. If that's the only thing causing the WC problem, it should be easy to fix; if you send a weekly save prior to the Worlds I can do it. Btw, do you have the last patch installed? I remember there were some problems with the Worlds in early patches, but not sure if it were problems such as this one.

Wow, thanks a lot! I thought it was a lost cause!
I will attach the save before the Worlds, hope you can edit that, so I can race the Worlds after all
About the 03/10, that's quite odd. Cyanide still has some surprises for us in stock, it seems Let's hope I get past it on my next try.
