I've seen some comments on the difficulty, that Hard is supposed to be to most realistic, but I find it too easy to win on Hard.
So I'm thinking of changing up to Extreme, but I saw some people say that the result become really unrealistic, is this really the case?
Isn't it suppose to be just harder to win?
Can someone explain to me what it is that makes it unrealistic?

Yeah, dude, I think Extreme is the mode where Graeme Brown wins mountain stages by breaking away 150 kms away from the finish But yeah, i think it's a bit unrealistic. |

I've never seen such thing (in 3D, simulating is a whole another thing). The gameplay in Hard/Extreme should be the same except for the fact that Extreme gives a +5% bonus to AI stats instead of the 2,5% given on hard. That makes it more likely for a sprinter (or any AI rider) to win a mountain stage if he's in a breakaway only against your rider, but AI vs AI it shouldn't change anything, nor AI actions/reactions.

So what do you suggest lluuiiggii, just play on extreme?
The results should be almost the same as on hard, except for the fact that I will have a harder time getting good results myself, right?
I'm talking about 3D gameplay by the way, I don't simulate stages as they are unrealistic on every difficulty in my opinion.

If you find hard too easy, yes, I'd go for Extreme. But then if you find Extreme too hard, you can always edit the Local.cdb to change the % of stat bonus given to the AI riders.

Yes, all I've ever read on this topic is that the difficulty only increases (or decreases on easy) the AI's stats. No gameplay changes whatsoever.

Extreme difficulty is insane for medium/weak riders of your team. There is such a gap between +2.5% and +5% AI stat bonus. But as said by lluuiiggii, you can edit AI bonus to fit your need. |

Yup, extremel difficulty is a major step up from Hard. For me, personally, it's way harder than going from Normal to Hard. |

Well I'll just try it out and if it turns out to be too hard I'll change the AI stat bonus, seen there's no one who can confirm weird gameplay changes or unrealistic results
